Last night during my walk I weakened and popped into a pub that I had not been in for ages. They're known for guest beers. 3 pints of Old Peculiar went down very well.

The van dilemma continues. My brother is encouraging me to pay the extra for a new van, based on the fact that I plan to keep it a long time and I can get exactly what I want. Me being my normal self, struggle to bring myself to pay new vehicle prices, but, I contacted the main dealers for Peugeot, Citreon and Ford today to give me a quote for my requirements. Citreon have just come in with a quote which is only a couple of grand higher than what I was going to pay for a 2 year old van this weekend. This has shocked me as it is 6 to 8 grand under normal new price! Excited to see what the other companies come back with now, we have a van shortage so I wasn't expecting that.

What a team that is, I thought they may have nudged the World Record, but a few iffy change overs scuppled them!

In the early covid days here, there was a fear of packaging carying the virus, also many cases of people with covid passing it on to relatives by sending birthday cards in the post and licking the envelope etc. As a precaution, I used disposable gloves to handle all deliveries, then would dispose of the packaging and leave the item inside for a couple of days in the air before handling. If you are worried, you could do similar!
