    Unfortunately the charge probably didn't warrant remand. Ex police and officials usually remain free even after sentencing for years pending appeal. I'm sure you know gun ownership is rife in Thailand, licenced or unlicenced. Tragic consequences in this case.

    A tragedy. Sitting with a group of Thais who are reading reports on national press. They are explaining to me. Apparently he was due in court tomorrow on drug charges. R.I.P. to the children, teachers and his family members. May he rot in hell.

    Last night ordered a Leo, frozen and rising out of the bottle. They poured it into a glass so I asked for a straw, was like a cocktail.

    I'm quite happy knowing my bike is sat in a dry garage and used when I want. I certainly wouldn't feel the same if the garage was empty. I think it would be like a hole in the heart.

    The only thing choppers and sports bikes have in common is the need for a three point turn, but for different reasons

    Flipping horrible, when you apply steering lock with a raked front end the central mass drops, it flops to the side. I've ridden bikes with 16 inch front wheels, super quick steering and the drop into corners but nothing like a chopper.
