  1. My 2 year Temporary License expires in May this year, not much chance of getting back in time. I understand you can still renew within 12 months without sitting the exam and practical test.
  2. Boeing recommend suspending operations of all 777s fitted with P&W 4000-112 engines. "While [an] investigation is ongoing, we recommended suspending operations of the 69 in-service and 59 in-storage 777 aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney 4000-112 engines," the company said in a statement. ............................................................ The agency (FAA) has ordered extra inspections of Boeing 777 jets fitted with the Pratt & Whitney 4000 engine following the incident. "We reviewed all available safety data following [Saturday's] incident," said FAA administrator Steve Dickson in a statement. "Based on the initial information, we concluded that the inspection interval should be stepped up for the hollow fan blades that are unique to this model of engine, used solely on Boeing 777 airplanes."
  3. For a real ale drinker I imagine even an alcoholic lager would be a disappointment unless there is a LBFM sat on your knee. I don't like low cal soft drinks, most seem to have a saccharine taste to me. Where health is concerned, we have to make sacrifices at times.
  4. Drinkable but is it enjoyable 555
  5. I understand it was for 2 kegs to celebrate the introduction of draught beer. Claimed to be cost price.
  6. I found this in my cupboard but probably too old to drink
  7. Including the test forum, I thought more like 36 hours but stand to be corrected.
  8. Longest 10 hours of my life, not helped by Addicts going down. Had to log in to Thai Visa to et my Thai fix
  9. Occasionally my HP laptop loses bluetooth and some USB connections after some updates. Usually fixed in device manager - action - scan for hardware changes
  10. Thanks for your response. No offense meant and look forward to the return of 'arrow'
  11. Not sure if a plugin but the back to top arrow seems to be first casualty in any update. ⬆️
  12. Looks very tidy and plenty quick enough nowadays. I'm thinking of selling my GSXR1000 and replacing with Yamaha MT09, Head down and arse up is getting more and more uncomfortable as the years progress.
  13. Walking through Asda I spotted this on sale, not good but not bad. £3 a bottle 😝
  14. If you catch them, consider having them mounted on a pendant 555. I consider myself fortunate, first diagnosed in summer 2015, I thought I maybe would last a year with heavy meds. I have never experienced any pain, only mild discomfort from regular chemo and the ensuing pee on the hour, every hour, but that finished 18 months ago. Finally can do what I like without checking where the nearest toilet is. Thank God it didn't hurt to piss then. Have completed 11 more trips to LOS since 2015 including last year which expanded to 6 months. As I think @code_slayer_bkk would say, I "get on down the road".
  15. No need for anyone to be nervous, flexible cystoscopy is a common procedure with low risk and no pain in my experience. I have had 5 rigid cystoscopies under GA involving overnight stays in local UK hospital spread over 18 months, 2 for resection of bladder tumour and 3 as follow up. Now I have flexis as a precautionary check, 9 in the last 4 years. No idea when they will stop. Regarding your final paragraph, over 5 years I've had over 20 catheters used to instill chemo direct to the bladder, catheter is approx 4mm diameter, 15 minutes as outpatient, no problem. Never measured the flexi scope but estimated it is 7-8 mm diameter. A dollop of local anaesthetic from a tube is applied down the eye and a minute later the scope is slipped upstream. I don't watch directly but follow the action on the monitor, I know what they are looking for after all this time. With both treatments, 10 minutes later I am on my motorbike heading home. Best of luck with the stones @Skalliwag
