I tried out the Trivento Malbec the other week and loved it. Today I’ve had a chilled out day a bit of work, some food shopping and I deliberately went to several shops just to get the excercise in and spend time in the sun. Right now I’m going through old photos and watching YouTube working out what’s this noise with stuff being lifted in end of June. I think this is the lockdown from 2300 x 0400 (not sure on the timings).

Hello mate this was last year it happened. Not sure if you knew. Still find it difficult to accept.

I know I shouldn’t dwell on the past but it’s been a hard journey for me over the last year seeing one of my best friends leave this world. I posted previously how difficult I would find it not meeting in town for those tequila shots we loved slamming and visiting Windmill each time. It still feels like the future has been stolen. I wanted to post some photos of Baz where I actually captured him in the moment taking those great photos off his Olympus camera which we all loved so much. These are from December 2015 with the lovely Dao making an appearance, he is gone but never forgotten.

Very highly unlikely and people are clutching at straws here and I don’t believe a word of it. Pilots like other professionals with huge responsibilities are trained exceptionally well. A biggest part of their training is around human performance and error. No self respecting pilot whether male or female would ever not eat to maintain essential blood sugars and energy for the sake of following their faith. I’d wait until the official report is out.

Phil - I am loving the YouTube videos and I can tell you know they keep me entertained at home. I look forward to more of these coming our way. The newsreader one you did....OMG I couldn’t stop laughing! 😂

So getting back on topic...I only met Dave the Rave once at Le Pub. He came across very self confident and introduced himself to me and my best mate. I thought at one point I had my drink spiked because Dave and Mr Egg next to each other I thought was on the cat walk with Right Said Fred 😂 I can’t un-see that no matter what I do. Dave is an interesting character and I liked him and would happily meet up for a drink if we was in town again. It’s a shame that this whole BS with the virus is impacting the very core of what we all know of fun. I hope things work out for him back home in England.

I guess it’s a staycation until then...time to dig out some old photos and videos. Yes I actually take short clips of the good times on holiday. Infact I do have one of Pattaya beach with the sunsetting for about 5 mins.

I understand where you are coming from...part of wants something to look forward to as opposed to the weekly shop, four walls, pornhub and of course Netflix. I really holding out for a best case scenario but take your point we might be ok back home but other places may not be as welcoming. I guess I’ll have to still go around dressed in my giant condom for a few more months. Dare I say I need a pet (nope you sickos) as in something to keep me company and focused on simple things. Gosh the simple life is hard work [emoji29]

I did read up on the article and not sure who else will be doing this from the airlines - in terms of making a difference in getting an infection I can seeing it reducing it to a very small point but then you think about passengers touching the tops of seats as they head towards the toilets, whether they’ve learnt to wash their hands by now in their adult lives. A common myth about the air constantly circulating the same stuff is not true. I’d love to see some real science behind the decision.

Right now I’m looking to book a holiday at the end of June to LOS because that’s when I’m predicting it will be kind of normal-ish. UK has a further 3 week lock down and then will start easing it in phases so I’m looking around for potential flights to get out of Dodge and into Sin City 😂

Watching Tiger King and just can’t understand why some people are just dumb they can’t see what is unfolding before their very eyes.

Phil you are a good man but just don’t be taken advantage of. I know your heart is in the right place and no one would think any less of you when you draw the line. But you have to think about yourself too. I’m glad you in are a position to do what you are doing and I’m certain good karma will repay you for your kindness. I hope this whole experience makes people more humble but all too often they return back to type which is the real sad thing to see.

I came across his videos on YouTube about a year ago or so and liked them. I never met him but enjoyed just the vlogs until he got sick. It’s tough watching someone’s condition deteriorate especially when he was well liked from what I’ve read online. I guess he decided where he wanted to be nearer the time and made his mind up. It’s difficult putting yourself in their shoes as we’ve seen many good friends pass away when we thought there were other options available. May he rest in peace ✌️

I thought I was the only person who had that problem after being on the lash and having peanuts to eat...the worst ones are the honey roast flavoured combo with beer....ok maybe too much information...but sharing is caring unless you are a virus 🦠

I’m lucky so getting to work remotely so still flat out working even harder than before which is getting silly now. But my list of things to do are:- Tuning into news when I want to on my terms Only watching NetFlix, Top Gear, Subscriptions to a select YouTube Channels with my personal interests Some DIY with stuff I have at home and getting round to those old jobs Checking in on neighbours who I know aren’t very well / definitely can’t get out and doing some shopping for them / Putting out their bins Going for a daily walk to the shops to pick up essentials just to go out Home work out by running on the treadmill and some free weights At least 3 times per week for 30 mins. Connecting with friends on FaceTime just to check in

The current circumstances has it’s toll on mental health as soon as people realise that there are restrictions imposed upon their lives where they have otherwise freely wondered...it’s the sense of oh I can’t do this anymore. There are nations out there where they’ve lived their lives in lockdown since they day they were born. As soon as we realise our liberties have gone it’s like the web is closing in on you...with added pressure to keep your job working from home with / without your partner it’s a huge adjustment. Tempers will be tested as will relationships and it’s important to have some space. I do honestly feel for those families living in small apartments and not being able to head out. That’s really tough on parents.

I will never forget the day a met a guy in secrets where simply got chatting to him in the bar one night and introduced him to Dao who he later BF. Dao introduced herself in her own way by punching the guy in his balls only to watch him crouch on the steps at the very back of the bar for a few mins. She thought it was fun 🤐 bizzare girl for sure!

She’s not Thai and actually Cambodian from memory. Using someone else’s Thai ID for years working in the bars.

I recall something similar with a tom boy where Dao was going into a bar as a customer and ringing the bell like no tomorrow. Anyway below are two photos (non of which are mine) I believe they are from her facebook which I saved ages ago.

Back in the day before the social media crazy I remember watching mamasans really somewhat teaching them how to look after the customer. In doing so set the scene quite well because they were all knowing and most been bar girls themselves. Today - it’s just freaking greed! I tell ya No One.....should now EVER pay more than 2k LT or more than 1k ST....now just laugh and walk away. It’s about time things got back to normal in sin city 😂 a bit like the matrix...it will fall and reset

I know exactly what you mean - I was never born with a silver spoon in my mouth but know the value of life, money and people of the heart. Seen girls sweet as anything only to come back on my next trip to a stupid transformation in 4 months. All because they now have a taste but never been shown how to hold on to stuff. You’d think like 4 months is neither here or there but out in LOS it’s a lifetime and we’ve all seen how things can change in a matter of days and weeks recently. Your post kind of reminds me of a girl named Dao from secrets who looked amazing though crazy. She then got cheap nasty tatts not even art (scratchy) all over her and had dreadlocks when I saw her last in person and across social media. One word....Ruined!

Only 10? This isn’t 2005 where you are limited to holding 10 text messages in your phone 😀 It’s probably gone viral across all her social media platforms through one app managing her business. Whilst I do feel for the people working in an around the entertainment zone...I have very little sympathy those girls who simply splash all their earnings on shite, thinking they are living but only someone’s else fake reality and wonder where it all goes at the end of the month. Sweet lord I remember having a drink with a fellow board member in a bar back in 2008 when he introduced me to a friend...turns out she’d been working in the bar industry for over 30 years and has nothing to show for it. You’d think some common sense would have kicked in seeing how the world works buy nope. I bet my bottom dollar they as soon as that lady gets the 33k (not explicitly asking) she’d go out and buy a new iPad Pro in a heart beat. I’ve seen this so many times...call me cynical 😂
