  1. To be honest it could do with a clean out, unfortunately it’ll probably be the dodgier ones that do eventually open back up.
  2. Lord Nelson hotel is on the beach and has a pool. I heard today that restaurants will be opening here in BC on the 1st but only rumour. I can’t see the bars opening for a while yet.

  5. Used clippers, often myself, for a lot of years now. Decided to let it grow during this ‘lockdown’, just for a change. Also grew a beard for a couple of weeks, no idea how anyone can enjoy having one, shaved it off yesterday and feels great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Same when I came in on Thursday. Maybe they don’t need to ask as their computer systems already have all the info....[emoji16] I did wear a mask when going through immigration in BKK as I had heard they were not happy with people not wearing them, then when I got to the desk the IO I got wasn’t wearing one [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I reckon they would still know, unless you have a stopover somewhere and then further travel on a completely different ticket/airline. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. If I go back I will probably have to do the same, that’s when a second passport comes in handy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The new Oculus Quest is completely wireless, supposed to be amazing. I’ve never tried any of these VR headsets so no idea what they are like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nope, but got another job lined up, just waiting for the paperwork so hopefully won’t need to go back, the place is mental anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Just been informed that I cannot return to work in Iraq until further notice as they have banned anyone travelling from Thailand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Have a small TCL in my dining room , it’s ok for normal viewing but the web interface isn’t great. I don’t like the Samsung web interface either, got an LG in the bedroom and web browser is much better. For normal TV viewing, HDMI inputs etc the TCLs are fine and great value for money. 16. We had a Chevrolet Captiva for a few years. Worst car I’ve ever had. A few months from new it developed electrical problems, service centre were hopeless, it was in their garage at least 5 times trying to repair it, one time they had it for nearly 1 month and did 500km in it (testing apparently !). The staff were really p@553d off with us and quite rude. Then a new kid started school with my son, got talking to his dad and found out he was new GM for Chevrolet Thailand. Told him the story, 2 days later we got a call from Chevrolet garage asking us to bring the car in, this time the staff were rolling around the floor wai-ing us and telling us we were special customers so wanted to help us. They gave us a new courtesy car and kept ours for nearly 6 weeks, replaced full wiring loom and a load of sensors, was ok after that. Was funny seeing the staff crap themselves every time we went back for anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I came through Suwarnibumi last night and it was the quietest I’ve ever seen it. In Doha airport now and it is deserted also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. For me I don’t think it is any kind of a big deal, about an hour to sort the paperwork and an hour or 2 at immigration. I was quoted over 20K by agents to do it, cost me 1900. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Been through the Marriage/Dependant extension a couple of times at Jomtien, the 2 women who dealt with us were absolute witches, especially the older one. Just tried to find fault with everything. I’ve recently changed it to a retirement extension at Map Ta Phut immigration as I have moved out of Pattaya, they could not have been more polite and helpful, absolute chalk and cheese. 23. Selfies get flipped by IPhones, my daughter often sends selfies of her in the car with the Mrs and it always looks like she is in the right hand side (driver’s) seat. https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/iphone/flip-iphone-photo-3635062/?_gl=1*1stukua*_ga*YW1wLUVEcEZNWGxZMW44RjBwOEZlT0RuRGpVc29HZGZOaEVPV1VzTmRBSXdPOWxSNVg3WWpua3daRGEwbTYwOThub3I.
