  1. I am sure knee pain or stiffness has been covered before, but i think no harm to raise again. I have got as much improvement as i think i can by exercise, but still have stiffness after exercise in one of my knees. Quite bad stiffness the following day. Anybody found tablets that work? I see possible supplements are: Glucosamine (tried this before but didn't notice much change. Type II Collagen Boswellia Serrata MSM Turmeric Piperine
  2. My weight has little to do with my day-to-day diet, all related to beer (i don't drink wine or stronger stuff). But apart from the beer calories there are unwise food choices while drinking beer - fish & chips and pies being the main ones but also nuts and cheese if drinking on the balcony at home). If i cut out beer for 4 - 6 weeks my weight will go down.
  3. Never saw a ghost, but brave to stay there.... Laksi Plaza in bangkok not far from Don Muang. Devastating fire and deaths the business never came back. Haunted
  4. Ah a closet vegan.. everything looks great with that breakfast especially the sausage and bacon (and the toast & butter). But i would have gone for fried egg.
  5. Any reason for the minus the egg? Or most likely just that the plate is already full. Looks great
  6. Wow that peak looks like you saw a ghost...
  7. Strangely enough most paranormal activity has similar signs to ventilation and electrical functions - how can we be sure which it is? Added to that the shock of a supermarket bill and i expect you did feel the blood drain from your very heart. I for one would stick to BigC with a ground floor carpark - better to be safe than sorry.
  8. I nearly had a ghost experience a few years ago. I was staying longterm in a hotel down Pradiphat Rd and went over to the Elizabeth hotel compound for a haircut. The girl asked where i lived and when i told her she said a guy had been murdered there by a bargirl a few days ago, his gold stolen and the girl had escaped. When i got back to my hotel i asked at reception and they confirmed that there had been a murder and it was on my floor a couple of doors down the corridor. In fact she said "the whole floor has been closed down except your room because everyone's scared of the ghost" I explained that although i had no fear of the poor c**t stalking the floor looking for his gold and revenge i would be pleased to move for their convenience. Huge sigh of relief from all and i was shifted within an hour to safer territory one floor down. On drunken nights i did on occasion return to my old floor by mistake, the lights were out and the doors creaked through unuse. I was left unharmed, a fellow creature of the night.
  9. Is this solved? Common signs of ghosts: 1. Feeling a wave of cold air come over you 2. Seeing unexplained movement out of the corner of your eye Strange sounds 3. Lights flickering and electronics turning on and off on their own 4. Difficulty sleeping and strange dreams 5. Doors opening on their own 6. Waves of dread
  10. Aircon on full blast inside and someone opened the door? (Walking past a shopping mall scenario)
  11. I agree, not because i know anything about the specific ailment but because i have been there with family members several times. https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/find-center I expect much cheaper than Bangkok-Pattaya
  12. I have some photo negatives from 1990. Anything i can do with my phone or scanner to retrieve the pictures. I did try google but would prefer some first hand knowledge. I just need to choose a couple of photos and extract, i don't need large file size/ great quality.
  13. Well done seeing it through. I'm sure the effort seems well worth it now.
  14. Spurs are involved in several Premier League settling matches over the next few weeks. Arsenal just won but whether Man City, and to a lesser effect Liverpool, can beat Spurs can decide the result.
  15. Shopping! Great malls in BKK
  16. Even better, quite amazing what can be bought online these days.
  17. Perfect. Chicken & sticky rice, tom yam, papaya salad. All great
  18. If it's only you using it you don't need the adjustment. Can you set it to the height you wany and then fix it in place? Maybe a big jubilee clip or other clamp to stop the cylinder sliding down.
  19. Heatwave over in singapore
  20. Any kind of compression support you can get for your back? I know it's a lot less complex but i wish i'd bought my knee support years ago.
  21. I was puzzling over that for a while. From the internet Frequently asked questions about spelt or spelled In British English, both “spelt” and “spelled” are used, but “spelt” is a bit more common. So “spelled wrong” and “spelt wrong” are both accepted. In American English, “spelled” is standard, so the correct version is “spelled wrong.”
  22. Looks great.... or is this another "spot the oversight" post?
