I got the laundry done early again today and it is hanging up under my covered patio.... So I'll have clean skiddies on for Mr Egg's delivery girl tomorrow which means she won't tell him "that man smells like pla ra!"

Not if we are quick and don't make her spill the soup !!!

It is pissing down with rain at the moment. The poor girl would have to get out of her wet clothes and would need a good rub down with a dry towel followed by snuggling up under my duvet (which hasn't seen a washing machine since David Batty last scored from the penalty spot)

I posted on a different thread that the key broke off in the lock. That was Sunday when "upstairs" is closed. They told me to come back on Monday. Monday they told me that the "key" girl wasn't in and to come back Wednesday ....they even suggested that I had to pay for a new lock and key despite the fact that the key was flimsy as f**k when they first gave it to me nearly 10 years ago! Anyways I had a happy ending today. Key girl was in and I got a new key for free! EDIT = Before moving back down here I lived "in the village" for several years. I also had a P.O.Box in the local town. Despite that, the "postman" still delivered my mail to the in-laws...who then opened them before passing them on to me (sometimes!) .....

Water, and loads of it all day. Three times this week I had to go to the bloody post office to get a new key for my P.O. Box and each time it was a long mid morning walk in the heat leaving me pretty f***d each time. I'm gonna really enjoy my tripple cooked chips from Le Pub on Saturday with it being the only day I live "unhealthily" ....

Yep all my friends here have had the same.

I 'm worried that a variant takes hold and sweeps the country. There really could be some resentment built up against falang that have had AZ or Pfizer, whilst a large proportion of Thais suffer because of Sinopharm inadequacies.

I'm not so sure about that mate. It looks as if it sucks every bit of moisture out of the food!

It reminded me of some of the toilets in a Thai prison.... EDIT= Also quite similar to the bogs at the base camp just outside PG in Belize... Bloody luxury before heading out for jungle training in the early 70s !!!

My choice of airline depends on its arrival time at LHR and if it suits the National Express coach timetable to my final destination! As for THAI, there is no way I'm gonna pay an above average fare for a below average service to subsidize a HiSo family to fly for free!

Yesterday by bloody key broke off in the lock of my P.O. Box and of course the "upstairs" don't open on a Sunday so I'm off out for a long walk and tick off a few jobs on the way!

Perhaps the tailor thought that you kept your wallet in the right hand pocket and that your right arm had naturally grown shorter. Perhaps Primark have a whole range of clothing made "Scottish style" ..
