  1. No I will still be there, feeling much better and have been back to work. My course is due to finish at 4 pm in Bermondsey so depending on where we are meeting I will be there as quick as I can be and ready for a drink although as you know I am a lightweight.
  2. I hope you shared that because that is an awesome platter.
  3. I always used this one, she also loved the sheep......she was away sharpish.
  4. Silence......................but no doubt I will add to this thread when I get out of bed....
  5. If we are including series then I have started watching 'Killing Eve'. Recommendation from my brother and I love it, have watched the first 2 episodes. Last movie I watched was Ocean's 8 and I thought it a bit pretentious, I mean really crap.
  6. Cooked a sausage casserole and had it with vegetable mash. Food was better than the photos. Think I prefer it before I served it but it was delicious.
  7. Never a quiet dull time when you have good company tagging along......................
  8. Not meant to be drinking (doctor's orders) but this bottle of chardonnay had been in the fridge for about 3 weeks and kept winking at me, had to be opened and very nice it was too.
  9. I am sure my mum and dad never got that quality food in the hospice, kudos mate
  10. That third line will depend on my meeting with a manager tomorrow..........
  11. I did a few craft beer places in Denver back in 2001, really enjoyed it. Obviously another time your company would be the added bonus but maybe nearer you and not in Denver.
  12. Sounds Chinese but I presume Yuengling is a place in US? Interesting as some US beers are really good especially the real ale types. I have drunk quite a few at Wetherspoon and they occasionally get some American brew-masters to prepare a special brew for their festivals.
  13. I loved the breakfast at the UN Irish Pub. The link below shows their offerings. A nice pub with an outside terrace area. I ate there quite a few times and was not disappointed at all. They also have a bakery onsite. http://www.unirishpub.com/
  14. I have been to Chiang Mai 3 times but yet to take my beloved much to her annoyance. Fantastic place to visit to see so many interesting places, hotels good value, taxis cheap and eating options many. Getting up to Doi Suthep is well worth it for the view if not too misty, need to be quite fit though as there are a few steps to climb. I stayed at the M near the eastern gate and bang next door to the Sunday market which itself is well worth the visit alone.
  15. Nursing a sore head with a few stitches in a cut above my eye, got hit by a sack barrow yesterday and ended up in hospital. Long story but industrial accident..... Just woken up as was in bed by 8 pm, happily I have woken up and not suffering any of the possible after affects of a bang to the head except a headache.
  16. Ditto......once the wee one comes over I may lease a car, probably a Ford Focus but I would like a Kia Sportage..... It's an added expense I presently don't need as a bus takes me from a bus stop 2 minutes away from my house to another bus stop 3 minutes away from work.
  17. Just getting out of bed after a nap; is there a game on, might watch that...
  18. 50 days for me, can't wait but that is more to do with seeing my babes waiting for me at arrivals...........
  19. Where is that Chinese style eating area in about pic 15 or so.
  20. Glad you are having a great time, I believe I will be doing more trips in Europe once the entourage arrives. Near Europe also doesn't waste a night traveling so looking forward to beach and city trips. The weather in UK today is lovely (20 degrees C) and meant to be 23 degrees C tomorrow. (London temps)l Now see what you made me do lol
  21. It's why I thought I was ill as I eat Wagonwheels, biscuits and oat cakes but seem to lose weight. Admittedly my job entails some manual work as well but the weight loss astounds me. Just eaten some walnut cake with my tea and no doubt will have a full meal in the evening. I think my main reason for losing weight is that I only drink maximum 2-3 pints a week and that is only on 2 days so the 5 : 2 diet works for me. By the way got my x-ray result - all clear. I am just a lightweight healthy person it seems.
