The old tobacco factories in Bangkok

Arrived into Bangkok from Hanoi yesterday. As I’m staying in Soi 10 on Sukhumvit I thought I would check out these old buildings and see the redevelopment of this area. Have to say it’s very impressed and well worth the time to stroll around this green oasis in a city of concrete and skyscrapers!

I visited the area regularly in 96/97 because there was a new GSM Cell Site in there that covered a busy Motorway intersection and buggered if it wasn't always giving me problems before the launch of DTAC...

I think it is in the 11th pic ...
