Evil Penevil
This story attracted a lot of attention in the U.S. I found it quite moving. The soldier had been a member of 71st Regiment of Foot, Fraser's Highlanders, a unit raised in Scotland for service in North America during the Revolutionary War. He was killed in South Carolina in 1780 during the Battle of Camden, a major victory for the British forces. Mel Gibson's highly fictionalized movie "The Patriot" features the Battle of Camden and subsequent battles, but is nonsense in terms of what really happened.
Stillearly
I'm suprised they haven't used DNA to see if they can find living relatives and work out who they were I saw similar for some WW1 unidentified bodies found a few years ago https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-48610168
