  1. Mike is one of the good guys. When I had my motorcycle accident some years ago, he was a great help to me in sorting out insurance and treatment and his partner even retrieved my bike and brought it back to my residence. I met up with him in October last year and he was in more or less full recovery.
  2. Me neither. I imagine Tik Tok have taken the video down
  3. If Panda Boy crosses the line first today, I shall spend my winnings on a prostitute 😝
  4. Good idea, although I would still advocate the death penalty for repeat offenders 😄😄
  5. That nag has no chance. It has a club foot and a pacemaker 😁😁😁
  6. I've got 10 quid to win on PANDA BOY @ 12-1. Never ever won a bet on the GN before, so fingers crossed this time. I'm feeling lucky.
  7. Furthermore, I think that those caught with such weapons should be rounded up and executed by firing squad. Call.me an old Nazi, if you will, but its the only way, and you know it makes sense. 😊😁😊😁
  8. Good to see in general.I have had personal experience of being temporarily blinded by one of those whilst riding a motorcycle. I jammed the brakes on, but the bike skidded and overturned with me on it. I also list a pair of expensive prescription sun glasses in a similar manner, which were blown off with a water Canon and ended up being crushed under the wheels of a Baht Bus. It would be nice to see the original traditions being upheld without being a war zone for those who had a deprived childhood. I like the sound of a 6pm.curfew for water activity and would hope that it rolls out successfully in many Sois of Pattaya. Those who like to play, will have all daylight hours to enjoy and those who don't can enjoy a normal night of entertainment. It makes perfect sense.
  9. Was just looking at the iRovers Web cam on LK and it seems that there is an absence of those blue, hand held water tube things, whatever they are called, and this year, just small buckets being deployed. Is this because of restrictions, I wonder?
  10. Maybe a step top far 😁😁
  11. OJ Simpson has just popped his clogs apparently
  12. Has she just returned from a Bukkake party or is it Songkran ?
  13. Having just checked your account, there is no record of this and you are still an active member. Nothing reported this end and I have absolutely no idea why that is showing . It could be as, as Free mentioned that you may have used a previously banned IP The fact that you have made this last post suggests that you are able to post. I will flag it up
  14. Yep, heard that too today. Napalm is the way forward 😁😁
  15. I'd rather be in Gaza, than Pattaya during Songkran this year 😊 Maybe that's a slight exaggeration 😁😁
  16. I managed to watch the complete 2 series of "The Trip" starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. I thought it was excellent and extremely funny in parts. It's available on BBC iPlayer but also on several other streaming channels There have been a number of programmes featuring 2 celebs doing this and that, trying to imitate the Trip, but have failed miserably at it and just an excuse to go to nice locations and be themselves and get paid for it The Trip is largely scripted and well written by Coogan and Brydon.

  19. I think, during Covid, many expats stepped up to help Thais who were seriously affected by lack of food and shelter. The pictures of queues for food and water were more than evident at the time. A lot of money was raised. You wouldn't know it now that just a couple of years ago, Pattaya was almost a ghost town For tourists, like myself, I rarely get to meet Thais, not associated with the tourist industry, but its a lot different for those for expat farangs, many who put back, into the place which they have made their home. I reckon most of us are good farangs in the sense that we behave respectfully and peacefully toward the country and people we are visiting and I seldom see any colonial type attitudes these days. Pattaya and other tourist areas are a bubble, and do not represent Thailand as a whole. Those of us who have travelled around the country and spent any time in villages and typical 3towns will know that. But for some, they only the tourist side behave like they might in Benidorm or Ibiza. They come and go and often behave like animals. But in my opinion, they are few and far a very small minority. We should not forget that the main reason for Thais coming to work in places like Pattaya and leaving their homes and families is due to poverty and a chance of employment that they might not get elsewhere, particularly if poorly educated and unskilled. Indirectly, we are all helping toward the economy and the welfare of Thai families from places far and wide, while having fun and relaxation. Sure it may feel sometimes that we are walking wallets, but everything balances out. I am sure that for most bar girls, shagging Western tourists for money, would have been their first choice of employment if there were other opportunities, and there is pressure from their families and the needs of their children to send money home. Once part of the entertainment industry, its hard to leave, and there is not the kind of welfare systems that we enjoy in the West. As in the first post, it's easy to identify bad farangs but overlook the mostly good and unnoticed Thailand often penned as the land of smiles but I often see beyond the smile on girls faces, who playact night after night to please us, but are constantly thinking about their families back home and the worries they have and we don't see. We can just walk away at the end of holiday, but not so easy for them
  20. I was about to bin my smart TV and buy a new one after 6 years. It kept switching itself off and some of the remote control buttons were just not working Was about order a new TV with Argos, then I had a thought..... I restored the factory settings on the TV reinstalled everything, reconnected to WIFI. Then prized the remote open with a kichen knife, removed batteries and cleaned the components thoroughly and dried them. Replaced the batteries, switched TV back on and everything working perfectly as before. Just saved myself 500 quid and the hassle of remounting a new one on the wall. Going to reward myself with a bottle of Jack Daniels later.
  21. I wonder what effect if any, the new complex will have on existing bars in Diana, those that have been around for years, mid way down the Soi, not to mention nearby LK Metro So many bars now, in the Buakhao, LK, Diana area. Will there be enough customers to sustain a whole evening? Tree Town has many bars, often with few customers during certain hours. Will be interesting to see how Vegas pans out. Probably a lot of interest initially but what will it offer apart from just a new strip of bars with similar format? That said I hope it does well.
