  1. OTOP is in the big "Challenger" Halls, Sportsworld and Home Pro are across the street in Hall 5 and 6....we had a blast there yesterday. Hit em all and bought goodies from each. Good day out....
  2. Good price I think..... Yep, she did leave SOME of her clothes at my home.....but most were shipped back here. Life with a Thai bird huh?? Priceless LOL! It was $1,850 USA all in to get it here by boat. Not bad really. Like I said, she takes "no mercy" on making sure her stuff is well taken care of. Like yesterday, went to OTOP, Sports World and HomePro expo at Impact right? She decided we need an air conditioner/humidifer in our upstairs bedroom. Picked up this "Dyson" model. Jesus Christ, this guy earned his money. He must have answered every question on the planet for 30 minutes that she had.....she also made him put it together with all the filters etc and box it up and he put it in a cart and took it out to our car too! It was cool, I just walked around and "oogled" the cute girls working there LOL!
  3. Having coffee, getting ready for breakfast. Hitting Impact again in an hour or so....Sportsworld Expo is huge there for the next week. I surmize wifey and i will be gettin new running shoes and other goodies at a reduced price.
  4. All over the news here obviously.....wifey shakes her head once again.
  5. Well...ever heard of the saying "It's on a slow boat to China"? Well......that is exactly how our clothes etc. got here to wifey's house Tuesday. Obviously all the clothes, heels etc. I bought her in USA over almost 4 years, were not going to fit in 2 suitcases. She took the task to find a way to get it all here and well, well, well...she found a "Thai" freight forwarder in South San Francisco to do it all.....what a shocker huh? LOL! Got to give it up to these guys, they picked it all up at my home, we boxed it all up, they took it to their facility, shrink wrapped 14 regular boxes, 1 wardrobe box ( for her high end dresses that cannot be folded of course LOL!) and it was " door to door" delivery with them taking care of all the customs documentation etc. 200 baht charge on delivery for customs clearance. Left SFO on Oct 17th , was told by the Thai guys in SFO that it would be about 60 days to your door, they were right. First stop was in Hong Kong, traded container ships there and was put on another boat to SE Asia with stops in Guam, Philipines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia I was told. Anyone want to take a guess how much this cost? If you're really bored LOL! Thank God, they did not lose one of her boxes with her shit in it you know? I would not want to be the customs/cargo guy that had to deal with her 😆
  6. Hope none of the members here think I do not like The French People or their country......not the case. Just want to see Lionel Messi get his first World Cup....always liked this guy and he seems to be a fairly decent human being and gives away alot of his money to Argentina charities.... I kind of felt the same way about Alexander Ovechkin, get his first Stanley Cup win after 13 years in the league.
  7. Please oh please Mr Buddah......let Argentina beat France!
  8. Stu, have you seen this girl around? Was she asking about me? LOL! What a body on her, quite fit and remember her telling me that she works out quite a bit...Would love to have....well you know. Agreed..
  9. For those of us Hulk Hogan fans from back in the day, got to give it up to this guy. For a guy 69 years old, you can tell by the way he walks, that his wrestling career has taken a toll on him. Always takes time to talk to the fans though....respect to him.
  10. Very nice pics Phantom....thanks for posting up. Wifey is talking a Hua Hin trip for Valentines day for a few days...Ok by me!
  11. Wifey is out spending money foolishly at the mall with one of her friends....I am just reminiscing........dam I swear I was like in 7th or 8th grade when this came out! Dam The Stones are good! Brian Jones lead Guitar on this still sounds good after all these years... Pass me the bong LOL!
  12. Glass, my first job right out of San Jose State, was working for a company called "Northern Telecom" My boss was about 5 years older then me right? He bought a brand new 260Z. We had to go to other offices in a city called "Mt. View" I was completely blown away when we got on the freeway how "quick" that 260Z was! I wanted one, never got it. John, I went on Saturday, it was crowded, I thought the vibe was not as good as it was before, even with all the people there, but I still enjoyed the show none the less. Had not been to one of these since 2018, so not sure if it is fair to compare you know? I think with most things "Thailand" I hate to say this but......things were a bit more "lively" years back. Will see the "Bangkok Auto Salon" show in June with all the "jacked up" Japanese imports these guys bring to show and the girls will be less conservatively dressed I think.
  13. @boydeste Hell Stu, been to that location too. No Hooters girls go "unscathed" when I was on tour.....they all got a look LOL! I should have taken all of them to "Phromthep Cape" for an outing. Ahhhhh..missed opportunities. Agree, The Burgers there are great...
  14. So.....not to be ignorant or anything but......how about a Thai DL AND ID card? I have both that I carry with me. Probably not.....but will task wifey to get my passport on my phone etc. I have a "yellow book" too showing residence here.
  15. Appreciate the inputs gentlemen, yeah this car show is kind of G rated ( at least the girls dress) The other car show in June, the girls are a bit more "in the open" I'll be back....
  16. Hit the car show here at Impact last Saturday. Was good, the usual manufactures were there, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Isuzu, Mazda etc. The high end cars like BMW, Lexus, Maserati, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley, Audi, Mercedes Benz were all there too. Few Electric Vehicle manufactures were there, but not Tesla? Hmmm…. There were some great Motorcycles with all the big players and some vintage Cars and Boats too…..big ones! Had a good time as always, the models were on their game and talked to a few of them after they do their routine. The BMW gal tells me she does this to make extra money to pay off her school loans and is working on her MBA. She works in Marketing for a “Public Relations Firm” Can tell…..her English is perfect Nice gal.. Just like the Ford Gal, she too told me she is finishing college soon and wants to work in Finance. Girl was adorable... @lazarus Well Matt, your "Gik" was not there....the lovely Nong Natt.....as was rumored on some of the local Social Media sites. I was disappointed 😞
  17. Might give some consideration to going to a Korean Baseball Game in the future.
  18. Yeah we all have stories from the Bier Garten...2006 I went there, ended up with a gal who was from Udon Thani I remember her telling me. Got to say, she had a very nice pair of naturals.....that's all I remember LOL! Remember Evil Knievel saying in an interview many years ago " Have fun in life, god knows I did, nothing lasts forever"
  19. I am getting older and my eyes are not once what they once were and I even "enlarged" it a bit.....are those tennis shoes?
  20. Quite frankly, I still like X-Mas and our tree is now up. I remember many great X-Mas memories, especially with my kids when they were young.
  21. Went to the Car Show at Impact yesterday. Good show, great cars, motorcycles and boats. Took 230 pics so will narrow it down in a few days and post. If wifey ever decided to " give me the boot" I might look these 2 gals up. Would be a tough decision for me personally, The BMW gal or The Ford gal....one good thing about being back in Thailand.............is one has many "choices" 😇
  22. Would love to see him again, what would the Thai's think of him for a concert at Impact? LOL! Look at Joe Perry from Aerosmith playing at this festival in Rio De Janeiro!
  23. Yeah sad day for all of us who grew up, knew and saw Fleetwood Mac concerts......they were huge back in the 70's and 80's. They played some real nice music. RIP Christine McVie.
