  1. Just got my tickets from Fed Ex delivered.....going to see Aerosmith in Las Vegas Sept 14th.....they have been doing a " residency" there for a few years. Wifey is geeked up....
  2. Good lord, this is the way the weather should be delivered on TV locally here LOL!
  3. Playing Baseball at the collegiate level was a real "eye opener" for me. It did not take me long to figure out that I was NOT going to make it to the major leagues or get drafted by any team. It was not because I did not put in the effort back in the 70's to be good at it, worked with a hitting coach etc. I was good, but not great, and you had to be great to get to the pro level or get a look by the scouts. When you see "professional" players of any sport, at any pro level, I now know how much effort they had to put into it. Alot of people say, "Oh they were just born with that skill and got lucky" Read LeBron James book one time and see how hard he had to work to get to be where he is at.......Steph Curry the same. One of my favorite Baseball players, Wade Boggs, the amount of things he had to do to be able to consistently have a 300. Batting average in his career was mind boggling. He would get pissed off if the " hit" he got, did not come off the bat the way he thought it should have. Jesus Christ..... But...I am glad I found Thailand and, was able to convince the girls I met, I was worth going with for the evening. Hee Hee!
  4. I get a yearly physical, have not missed in 30 or so years right? Amazingly for a 66 year old " hack" I am doing amazingly well. The Lipid Panel, CBC, Metabolic Panel Blood test tell alot I have been told. So far, so good, never been over any of the required areas where I might need some help. Asked my local Dr and the one at Phayathai Hospital BKK if at my age even though I appear to be OK, should I take any kind of supplemental vitamins and they both said no need right now. Just keep doing what you are doing. I know alot of people who do take supplemental Vitamins and they are healthy.
  5. Cliff, I am always here to help....wifey WILL take care of your problem. No one fucks with her in the "hood" here LOL! She is deadly with the M1 Carbine I have.....seriously! 😝
  6. Yeah I bought that for him, PRS makes some fine Guitars. He is doing quite well and the "Gibson Flying V" is his latest addition to the collection.
  7. Finishing up some pics to send to my Son. Took wifey and visited his new home here up in a city called " El Dorado Hills" They just finished the pool a few weeks ago. These new homes are all called "smart homes" here that included "Solar" It's crazy what he can do......all with his phone, where ever he is at. Start the shower, turn on the oven, turn on the air-cond ( it was 102 degrees yesterday up there) turn on the pool lights etc.etc.etc. 4 br, 2 1/2 baths just a beautiful location and place. I want one! Of course he had to buy a new SUV....2021 Mercedes GL300.....I 'm not jealous or anything LOL!
  8. Thanks for that, Comfortably Numb is certainly one of the better tunes both he and Gilmour play very well live. Always ( when I was younger of course) wanted to go see one of the top British bands at " Earls Court" I can thanks Genesis for me wanting to do this. The name of the tour is "This is not a Drill" postponed for 2 years and now it is on. So far, only American tour dates he is doing. The visuals in the " Round" are going to make this a great experience. His set-list is pretty good. Looking forward to this one too. Should I pass wifey a " joint" LOL!
  9. @Aqualung @roomark Well......this tour is getting mixed reviews, some say they did NOT like this version at all. I saw him do "The Wall" tour a few years back.....I though I had gone to heaven after seeing that particular tour. But....I have the tickets and will go either way.....the visuals are absolutely stunning.
  10. Wifey and I have both had 4 shots, that is enough for me personally. No more. Yeah big news around here is that the " fancy dancy" all in one flu shot/covid variant is coming this fall.
  11. Few pics from yesterday at the local flower garden...again a nice array of women out there getting pics taken. Was hoping one or more would ask me to take a few of them LOL! No such luck☹️
  12. Boz Skaggs you say? I am here to help...talked to him 1977, he sat right behind me and my buddy at the David Bowie concert in Oakland. Then later that eveing, stood right next to me at the "urinal" after the show. Mellow dude. Going to see Roger Waters here Sep 23rd....can't wait.
  13. Some great choices gentlemen, all of these are good, obviously my favorite is "Yessongs" Another favorite I can still listen to today would have to be " Seconds Out" by Genesis.
  14. Just to add insult to injury, not sure Glass if you saw my recent report to Hawaii for my Son's wedding. During the reception, they showed pics of my Son when he was young etc. my ex-wife is in that picture, talked about the time when we met in 1982 and hoped Jason would look just like his Dad blah, blah, blah you know? This pic was one of our first "dates" at a restaurant we went to. So, at this point everybody being quite buzzed, took it upon themselves to come over to me and say things like " Geez Mike back in 1982, you looked like Danny Disco" or..." Whoa there buddy, did you think you were Tom Selleck"? or...."Mike, you were pretty lean back then, were you on crack"? I took a beating that night....it was all good.
  15. Yeah Som did not disappoint.......great gal. Wonder where she is at these days?
  16. @Aqualung Dam, that cold there in August? Normal or abnomality?
  17. I like bright colors too...I think this is a great color for this BMW.... Car show from Bangkok.
  18. Jogging at the local High School, weight training at the gym, going to the supermarket with wifey, looking at my retirement accounts daily, watch a few favorite TV programs at night, clean the bathrooms and house as a general rule, look at some old pics back from 1982 LOL! Yep, 40 years ago, always fun for a bit of a laugh. And of course, every morning with coffee read this forum and see what is going on.
  19. Oh well....not one bit of sympathy from me for this guy. Got what he deserved. I thought the owner tried to de-escalate the situation well.
  20. Getting ready to head out to my parents home to wait for contractors to do some work...putting it up for sale soon. I hate dealing with contractors......
  21. I fully agree, she had a nice "set" of beautiful brown eyes LOL! Funny story about this gal, picked her up at Baccara that evening. 4 years later, walking down Soi Cowboy I hear this shrieking voice of " Khun Mike, Khun Mike" I look over at "Shark" and there she is sitting outside with another gal, they were "hostess" now. Of course fully remembering my first time around with her, well a " 3 some" was in order with her friend now in tow.........good lord, those were the days huh?
  22. My business plan was always take them to breakfast somewhere as a general rule, most of the gals I dealt with were pretty cool as a general rule and quite frankly, I enjoyed their company while "on tour" I figured that back home, I spent enough time alone. But beware as I found out, be careful that you do not let your gal order for you the next morning. I let this gal order me an Omelette "Thai Style" after an over nighter.....it tasted like "worms" Not pleasant at all.
