I do alot of walking and am a big fan of Sketchers. I always buy ones with a memory foam sole. Unfortunately they seem to change designs very quickly, but it's all I have worn for the past 5 or 6 years.

It's pissed it down all night and most of the morning. Enjoying a respite with a can of Stella.

I usually deal directly with the hotel, but do compare costs with both agorda and booking.com. On one occasion I had booked 2 nights in a hotel in Ross on Wye to fish on the river for barbel. After the 1st day I was so knackered that I knew that I didn't want the 3 hour drive home after the 2nd day. So I asked reception if I could stay an extra night. Unfortunately it was a Saturday and all the rooms were booked out for a wedding. Whilst on the river bank I went on booking.com to find an alternative hotel and was surprised to be able to book a room in the same hotel for the same price. Checking back in the reception admitted that a certain amount of rooms have to be kept back for agencies to book. Always good to know!

Listening to radio 2 as it's the only decent channel I can pick up at the lake in Shropshire.

The roll out now is for the youngsters and unfortunately many are choosing to not have it. Horses to water and all that. As for the media questions, they just blow my mind of the stupidity.

Have driven to Shropshire to meet up with my Welsh mate at a fishery. Looks like we are in for some rain, but have plenty of beers, wine and meat for the bbq.

Yes, I hadn't ever crossed 3rd road for many years of travel, then Graham (Fontoc) RIP, took me on a tour in his truck to all the expat hangouts, Gentlemens clubs etc. A big eye opener at the Time.

I have just taken a delivery of meat which includes fillet and ribeye steaks. So I had a fillet yesterday and a ribeye today, just to check them both out.
