Also just back from a trip to town with the GF. This is our Memorial Day weekend which is the official start of summer here in the Rockies. The place is packed with tourists cars everywhere. Traffic very heavy both into and out of town. You would never know there was a virus going around. In some ways it scares me.

Take out again. I had the green chili burger with fries and the GF had the patty melt. Damn tasty on both accounts.

Good on you both. Here as in Pattaya the food lines are simply heart breaking. And the true heros are those who serve the masses

Just finished my first batch of home made hand sanitizer. Watched varied youtube vids and was easy as feeding an extra pepperoni and cheese pizza to Ukguy at 3am. Used 2 parts 190 proof Everclear ( 32 oz..) and 1 part alo vera gel ( 16 oz. ) Mixed together with the help of a paint pattle in an electric drill for 5 to 10 minutes then added a couple drops of an herbal oil to help kill the alcohol smell. Worked great.... absolutely no alcohol smell what so ever.

The GF and I are indulging in rootbeer floats this evening. Always a taste treat.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm just going to take the year off. Stay around home and take care of those thousand little jobs that I'm constantly putting off till another day. I will throw in a few little jaunts here an there. But mostly pull everything back in and take care of meself. It's no big deal. Besides it seems that a year just kind of flys by these days

Just heading out to do yard work. Tomorrow it's back to work as I told the owner that I practice social distancing when other subcontractors are needed on the job. It's a politically correct way of saying I'm not working if others are around.

I was feeling pretty good till I read this mornings installment of the new batch of studies, research, findings and expert opinions. My conclusion is that this will be the first time that mankind has actually thought something to death.

We have a new neighbor who just built his log home below us. There goes the damn neighborhood

Called out this evening to one of our local Mexican restaurants for a take out. 2 orders of their beef burritos with rice an beans. Well actually I had double rice. And a couple chicken tacos. Very tasty indeed.

Made a nice little burrito with the leftover meat from the Sloppy Joes we had the other night.

Just finished binge watching season 1 of Jack Ryan on Amazon Prime. What a great show.

Heading out to Home Depot, with mask in hand, to buy mulch for the garden
