Probably the bush oysters were a bit underdone. (Bush oysters - kangaroo testicles collected from road kill. May also refer to ram or bull testicles). -
Those Germans seem to have the right word for every occasion. I assume that schlittenfahrt means fanny fart or pussy fart.

I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Grace Dent has quit the show, filmed in bushland in New South Wales, and fled Australia. The British food critic, 50, left camp on medical grounds shortly after she was voted to take part in her fourth bushtucker trial. https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/reality-tv/star-quits-im-a-celeb-a-week-in-and-flees-australia/news-story/1e729fd2c8958fe9df1ce7aa74afb296 -

Buying a new PC and transferring all my info/data over.

I run a lot of virtual machines although not at the same time. Each one single purpose with about a 100GB hard disk. Air cooled. Noctua NH-U12S. Can run 2 fans in push/pull but I only need the push. I didn't include my USB drives. First got a Samsung 500GB drive. Then Seagate brought out the 1TB USB drive so I got one. Then they brought out the 2TB, have one of them also. Then the 3TB and after that a 4TB. Thinking about the 8TB but if I clean up the existing drives would probably have enough space. Mainly keep various system disk backups on the USB drives. -

Interesting tactic. Green Bay tried scoring in the first half and it worked. Beat the Detroit Pussycats in their own litterbox.

Been a hectic 30 hours. Massive bushfire started about lunchtime yesterday. 40 degree heat, less than 10% humidity, strong gusty winds and no rain for nearly 2 months. Firefighters stopped the fire just across the road from my property. Got some ash and embers but no flames. Same conditions tomorrow. Picture grab from the TV news. -
I am not a plumber or gasfitter. I've only used tapered fittings (the usual plumbing fittings) with only tape and very rarely had a leak and had to redo it. It was only later in life that I discovered there were parallel fittings. Trying to install a recirculation pump into a water line and wondered why the fitting wouldn't tighten. No amount of tape would make a watertight seal so used pipe sealant, no tape. Loctite 577 from memory. Loctite make several pipe sealants but only one is suitable for potable (drinking) water. Follow the manufacturer instructions re use, cure time etc. I use "heavy duty" PTFE tape. Slightly thicker and easier to handle than the regular stuff. In Australia it all appears to be coloured pink but I don't know if that's universal colour coding.

You also have to be careful which thread. There is British Standard Pipe (BSP) and the American National Pipe Thread (NPT) In a rush they may look the same until you try and screw them together. Thailand has a mix of both.

The primary function of the PTFE tape is to act as a lubricant, used to be lard and horsehair in the old days with iron pipes. The seal on tapered fittings is achieved by thread deformation, the PTFE just lets you apply sufficient torque although it may also fill micro-gaps. For parallel fittings you always need the pipe dope. For BSP fittings, the fourth letter indicates either tapered or parallel. eg. BSPT, BSPP.
