  1. ^^^ Using the above location info and Street View (link) found these two places across from VN Residence 3. Water Park By Pattaya Sunny Rentals Butterfly Garden Boutique Residences
  2. A day later and Soi 15 is barricaded to all but foot traffic east of the Grand entrance. The Grand entrance is still accessible on the west side of the construction. You can get to Buakhao from Soi 15 via Soi Piss to Soi Dianna, or via the road to ko ko tel.
  3. Link below to posts with pics from Sunday and today of the ongoing road works construction. Probably not a problem if you're using two feet or two wheels to get around, but vehicle access may be problematic in the coming weeks if not days.
  4. Adam has restarted his monthly crawls. Next one after tomorrow is 5 Oct when the group heads down to Ban Chang. BTW, he just celebrated his 50th b'day yesterday.
  5. Suggest getting a small group together (say max 10 which is what a baht bus can accommodate), pick a GC to meet at and then let the group decide where to go next. Side Note: Honey Lounge does a weekly GC crawl on Saturdays. No advance signup required, just show up at 3pm. Side Note 2: Adam, owner of Cherry Bar is organizing a crawl for tomorrow (21 Sept) leaving his bar at 8pm. Plan is to hit the clubs on Soi Bong Koch and Soi Pothole. Stop in at his bar before hand to let him know if you'll be attending. List of Pattaya gentlemen clubs and misc BJ/ST places currently included on the above map. There is also a separate tab that has a history of the updates to the map. If you know of new/renamed or closed bars, let me know so I can update the maps. If you can provide the GPS location and a pic, even better.
  6. Soi 15 still open all the way through to vehicle traffic as of this morning.
  7. Some interesting visuals an AI came up with for Stairway To Heaven.
  8. Probably due to a very low water content they won't freeze hard. Note in this video when she takes them out of the freezer they're still pliable.
  9. A simple solution would be to put in a concrete raceway to the sea at the points that suffer the worst erosion. They could be kept shallow enough so easy to walk across when dry. Just need a wide and easy path for the storm runoff to get to the sea so the surrounding beach is left intact.
  10. So that's what was going on last night. I was at King's Club and noticed they kept checking the camera feed outside. Was told they were watching for police to come. Decided I didn't need to be there when that happened so paid up and went over to Purple Club. At PC I was enjoying some private entertainment behind the curtain when I heard a bunch of Thai yakking back and forth. My lady said they got a call the police were coming. Fortunately it was just after she had made me another satisfied customer so paid up and went home.
  11. Someone else had a similar idea for naming their bar. Doubt it's topless though. On Bong Koch Soi 3.
  12. They've started on breaking up the concrete east of the Grand entrance on Soi 15. Looks like Grand residents will still have vehicle access as one lane is now open west of the entrance.
  13. Not sure what's so special about the soi I live on, but happy to see the workers out removing unused utility lines this morning.
  14. Looks like another building the designers installed flammable cladding on.
  15. Here's an old post with a recommendation for an external cooling fan. @Pumpuynarak I take you decided not to pull the trigger back then on buying a new computer?
  16. Good chance the cooling vents are blocked with accumulated dust. Same with the cool fan. I recently had to replace the cooling fan on my 3 year old laptop because the the dust had gotten into the bearings to the point the motor could no longer turn the blades. The quick and dirty solution is take the computer to someplace that has compressed air and give it a good cleaning with blasts of air into the vents. While you're at it, take your keyboard too and use the same cleaning method. You'll be surprised at the amount of gunk that accumulates in a keyboard.
  17. Not the smartest move on their part to advertise to the BIB they have shisha available.
  18. They use cookies to track your website clicks. Amazon probably has a marketing deal with FB and others to share that info, thus the reason you see ads for for the same and similar items on FB.
  19. Perhaps if you were using a VPN that had your email address as part of the registration process they could have detected you accessing the E Consult site, then immediately sold that contact info off to the lawyer who had a bot ready to send you the spam email. But the VPN connection would not be able glean any medical data as your inputs would have been encrypted. eConsult delivers full compliance and state-of-the-art security
  20. Did a search for shortest duration which came up with an itinerary of 20 hr 26 min. The route though isn't through Europe. My flights were longer because I wanted to stick with Delta due to my status with them.
  21. They're too late, another bar on Buakhao already opened with their name. Pic from FB.. https://www.facebook.com/Bamboovipbarcenter
  22. Tree root trimming is something I hadn't heard of before. Looks more like they're either getting ready to remove the trees, or build some type of structure around the base.
