  1. Teaching the apprentice how to squeeze the last few drops of oil out on an oil change. 🤣
  2. Cock or C**t makes no difference. They still hurt like f**k if you step on anything Lego in the middle of the night. 🤬
  3. You could well be right. 👍 Statins can cause problems when you first start them. I went through several ones before I settled on, believe it or not, Atorvastatin 🤗 All the other ones gave me the runs. 🤣 My sister was the same, but strangely she settled best on Simvastatin. Different people, different reactions I suppose. I found taking my Statin at night suited me best as well. Good luck mate. 👍
  4. If they get any bigger, I’ll need it. 🤣
  5. Surprised to hear that your heart meds are causing your diarrhoea mate. Which ones are you on? I’ve just started back on Metformin today after months off of it as I was getting the same problem, but never had any problems with my heart medications at all and I’m on around 10 different meds daily, but not all heart meds. Only Metformin caused me problems and many people have had the same problem with them.
  6. No, she’s in fine fettle, it was a puncture in a tyre. 😉
  7. I do that with my tits, but the wife just laughs at me.
  8. There isn’t enough darkness in the whole world that can hide the light from this one small candle. Jan. You cared for and loved Jan right up to the end. Now, more than ever, you need to be strong in your grief, not just for yourself, but because you know Jan would want you to be. If memories are all you have now, then hang on tight to them and build on them, they will help you through this sad time. Everyone on 247 is rooting for you Gal. Good luck. 👌
  9. Sorry mate, I got a puncture and didn’t have a spare. 😉
  10. Bill Grainger Australian chef dies age 54. I liked his style of cooking, made it look easy. Taken at such a young age. 😟 https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/12/26/bill-granger-founder-of-bills-restaurants-dies-aged-54/
  11. Ok, but don’t pull the plug and disgrace yourself in front of the world’s press. 😉
  12. She obviously hasn’t tried abstinence then. That tends to work every time in my experience, but hey, I’m not a doctor. 🤣
  13. Years ago we had some people visit to measure the house windows for Roman blinds in Hua Hin. Believe it or not, these 3 guys arrived in a vehicle exactly like the Mammoth vehicle in the top picture. They had to climb down a ladder to get to the ground. Needless to say, they were all as camp as Christmas, but did make us fantastic blinds at a great price. 👍
  14. Yes, a demon has 2 horns. 😉
  15. My turn to cook the Christmas dinner and I’ve just polished off a rack of lamb with all the trimmings with my son, my wife had salmon as she’s not a big meat eater, although she stole one of my lamb chops when I wasn’t looking. Sticky toffee pudding and clotted cream and sauce followed. 👍 Now I’m in my recliner and moving for no one or nothing, unless it’s red and in a bottle marked Merlot. BURP 🥹
  16. Same to you mate and every other 247 member. 👍🤗
  17. Saw the flooding in North Queensland on the the TV the other night. Terrible to see. So many homes lost and people homeless. I have family in Brisbane and Melbourne, who luckily haven’t been affected yet.
  18. I’ve been on Clopidogrel (Plavix) daily for over 20 years after 2 MI’s and had many operations since then. One above I mentioned, plus a carotid artery deep in my neck that was cut open around 10 years ago to remove a blockage, done under local aesthetic, because I couldn’t be put under back then. I felt every cut of the scalpel, despite 14 injections in my neck and jaw, until they got to the artery, then nothing afterwards. They had copious packs of blood already matched and ready, good job, because I bled for two days afterwards and used most of it. 😟 Don’t worry mate, if they can operate on my aorta for 11 hours whilst I was on Plavix, and other thinners, then you’ll survive an accident and a good old bleed. Us oldies are stubborn like that. 🤣
  19. Ok, who didn’t tighten up their nuts properly?
  20. Apparently, rumour has it, they once shared a bed and only one pillow. 😉
  21. You must be paying someone a great deal of money to get them to get a tune out of it. 😉
  22. I use it on my Weetabix in a push. 👍 Even if there’s plenty of milk in the fridge. Come on! It’s Christmas after all. 🤣
