There was loads of Koreans on the boat, the tune came on, they all went nuts on the dance floor, was hilarious. Maybe depends who you book with. But we've actually been thinking of doing it again. Was definitely good when we did it, though it was when I got married, over 10 years ago.

Been here since 6am to set up, be finished about 10.45pm. Just as well it's well paid, and paid time off work.

I don't think there's any right or wrong answer. People had to weigh up what they wanted to do based on their own personal circumstances. Like me, I have 1 or 2 ailments which potentially would have been made worse by Covid, coupled with getting a blood clot around September 2020 (Before any vaccine was produced) which coincidentally happened when I tested positive for Covid. So for me I decided to have the 2 shots, then 1 booster. When the time came for the 2nd booster, Covid had mutated to be quite mild, so I decided against anymore. I've had covid since, just like a heavy cold. As it stands, I still won't be having anymore. My wife made her own choice based on her own personal circumstances. My daughter, who was then 5 and too young to make an informed decision, I decided she had no need to have the vaccine. I haven't changed from my then view.

Circuits class called off late notice, maybe instructor was ill or something. So decided to go and test my running, see if i could do the same as i was before covid, which was the last time i was running on treadmills. Done 5km in 30mins, which pleased me, same as i used to do. And plus not long back from 3 weeks holiday, where apart from scuba, i didn't do any exercise. So getting back to fitness. Happy enough, though would have preferred an hour's circuits. HIIT tomorrow evening, have booked a spin class just incase the instructor is still off. Good cardio workout, a proper spin class where they get you as if cycling up a hill, and working your arms as well.

Away already? They came and went!

Actually thinking of coming next Christmas instead of Easter, due to the heat. Thought the price would be mental for Christmas school holidays, but looking at this Christmas, just over £3000 for the 3 of us, same as Easter had cost the last 2 years. Ages away, but i would have been booking Easter next year in the next couple of months.

Apart from Pullman King Power, all my hotel bookings, although reserved with a card, are pay on arrival. King Power have the annoying habit of trying to take the money at any random date after i book it online. It then triggers my Bank's security as it's attempted to be taken from Thailand when i haven't told them i'm there. They send me a message about it asking me to say yes or no it's me, but message/attempted money being taken is like 3am or so UK time, so i don't see it until i wake up anyway. So what happens is, bank doesn't approve it, i have to call bank to confirm i know it's genuine, card it's corrupted, get it back working. Bank tell me Pullman would have to attempt to take fee again, but same scenario would play out. I'm kinda glad, even though it was annoying the 2 times it's happened, as i feel better knowing my Bank are on top of stuff like this. So i contacted Pullman, explained, they said fine, pay on arrival. I then also booked and paid for July/August's 2 stays when there last month.

I notice anything i think might be dodgy, i freeze my bank cards via the app straight away, until i can get talking to the Bank. Even if something did still happen, i can show i'm being proactive.

Fucking heat getting turned on here in the next 5mins. Sake!
