  1. How did you know they were closed for renovation. Did you turn up disappointed?? 😁 all dressed up.and nowhere to go.😎
  2. A large Capachino @ LHR, T2, EVA departure lounge waiting for boarding. There was a special offer on Jim Beam 1 ltr, a bargain which I simply could not resist. Purely for medicinal purposes, should there be a need. The plane looks full according to my sources but at least I have Aisle seat in a safe part of the Aircraft should it go down đŸ¤¯
  3. Fellas. Let's not argue over this. I started this topic about insomnia and I would be very disappointed to see it derailed. So let's move on please before I have to clean up. Thanks for your anticipated cooperation. s
  4. I went for a long walk yesterday in the freezing cold and felt nackered when I got home. BUT for the first time in weeks,I went to bed at 11pm and slept right through till 8 this morning and have woken refreshed. Hoping to get some sleep on my flight tonight.
  5. The chances are slim of that again during your last 2 days. I'm sure it will be fine. I have overstayed a couple of times and just paid at immigration and there's no stamp on passport of overstay.
  6. Might take you up on the Melatonin when I get back if it persists I am hoping that my body clock will sort itself when I am in Thailand but I will buy some more Alprazolam when I'm out there, just in case I probably won't get much sleep.on the flight so that may help later on my arrival after copious amounts of alcohol.on my first night.
  7. No, not the nightclub. For about a month now, I have been waking up after only 3 or 4 hours sleep at night and had definitely become more frequent. Whilst I don't feel tired, I then seem to fall asleep during afternoon or evening for a couple of hours if inactive. It worries me slightly because it feels like my body clock has gone oytbof sync. I woke up 10.minutes agonat just gone 3.30 am. Came downstairs, made a cup of tea and feel wide awake. It will take a while before I go back to bed, then sleep for maybe 4 hours. Have run-out of sleeping tablets too and my doctor won't prescribe anything strong, like Xanax . Does anyone else experience this kind of sleep disorder and what have you done to improve it? For some reason, it happens less when on holiday in Pattaya and I often sleep well, although don't often turn in until about 3am and sleep through
  8. I was a bit reluctant to post my words schooldays experiences as I didn't want to drag up the memories in my mind, but perhaps it will be therapeutic I went to a fairly posh, all boys Gramnar schoo in the early sixties. It wax not my choice but that of my parents once I passed the 11 Plus exam. The teachers were known as "Masters" and wore black gowns. The vast percentage of them were both sadists and homosexuals. The Headmaster,Spike Jones was one of the biggest c*nts that I ever encountered in my early life, and heconce severely caned me, just for a few missing entries in my homework diary and for forging my mother's signature . Bastard But one of my very worst experiences was when a group of us were taken on a 2 day geography field trip in Kent, lead by Mr Jackson, that nastiest Master in the school and an ex mitary man. We stayed at some kind of hostel and at some point during the day some of the other boys had been caught shoplifting in a local shop which was reported to Hier Jackson. That evening, after we had changed into.out pyjamas getting ready for bed, he call us up on pairs to his room.for questioning and ultimate physical discipline with a slipper When I entered the room with another boy, you could see the look of enjoyment on Jackson's face, which was flushed. I will never forget that look No one ever grassed another pupil and whilst I knew who the culprits were,I was not going to tell. Neither of either admitted to it or named those responsible whilst under his SS style interrogation. He then got the other boy to pull down his pyjama bottoms to give him a slippering. Jackson was wearing a dressing gown which was open at the front and pyjamas. As he began administering punishment his cock pocked our of the front his pyjamas with an errection. I froze to think what was coming next. Then it was my turn and got walked six times across my bare buttocks with a plastic soled slipper. Thankfully both of us escaped possible buggery In those days, you couldn't report this sort of thing or try to explain it to parents, so this kind of abuse was fairly common, especially in these types of school I have a sneeky feeling that BM Butch may attempt to correct my punctuation 😁😁😁😁
  9. Just looked at my Passport stamp when I arrived in October 2023 and it was valid for 30 days. I don't believe anything has changed since then.
  10. Bugger, now you tell me 🤔😁😁
  11. Kamagra is the only thing that springs to mind 🙂
  12. I only do an average of 1,500 miles a year. I don't see the point of annual service, more about when I reach the 6000 mile point since the last service. All I do is check the oil now and again and feel how the brakes are. My car is incredibly reliable and starts on the button even in very cold weather. Free public transport save me a lot of money and no parking probs.
  13. That's good news. But it could happen again and you need to find out the cause and get checked over starting with a blood test. Sometimes these events can be a wake up call. I'm not a Doctor, but common sense tells me that you need to find out the cause of the experience you had.
  14. Yes call them NOW mate. It could be a mild stroke, probably not but its best to seek immediate attention from.the emergency services I have experienced a sudden short term memory loss just once and I panicked, but like you it flooded back after a short while . But the fact that you are having mobility issues could be some kind of stroke where your brain is not connecting. Hope you get it sorted and it turns out not to be serious. You have been under a lot of emotional stress lately and could have been triggered by that.
  15. Binlid is a chef, and one would expect a degree of perfection in preparation
  16. Only been a couple of times and only to eat at a fantastic restaurant which extends into a pier overlooking the sea and sunset. Can't remember the name, but the food and atmosphere was lovely. Mainly middle class Thais were in there from my observation.
  17. Never. always wear jeans or track bottoms Don't see the point as aircraft are normal temperature without sunshine. Also some passengers may find my bare legs offensive 😁
  18. I am getting a little bit depressed about all these people dying in the age group they were I consider myself in God's waiting room and a potential coffin dodger during the next 10 years. Gonna make the most of it, before I end up as a candidate for this topic ☚ī¸
  19. Just picked up some new Adidas trainers at Next Outlet, in a January sale. Reduced from ÂŖ52 to ÂŖ24. An absolute bargain I could not resist.
  20. Only when my mind becomes unoccupied with important things that I need to do. IMO, and from experience, negative thoughts creep into my head when I am least stimulated by what is around me. The mind often wanders sometimes just idle day dreaming, other times worrying about what could happen in the future. When we are very busy and concentrating on tasks at hand or having fun, negative thought rarely creep into our psyche but the Devil can make work for idle hands. That said, maybe we need bad thoughts to make the good ones feel better. Here I go, taking shit again. 😀😀
