Been cleaning out the back storage shed and I ran across a box that I thought for sure had been stolen many years ago. It just made me smile when I opened it. It goes back to my childhood when I first started collecting these little beauties. My Grandfather gave me my very first when I was just a wee lad.

It goes against everything that's been beaten into my head pertaining to survival skills in foreign countries. Don't ever f**k around with drugs or illegal substances in other countries. Ever!

Now this surprises me. As a foreigner I'm not so sure it would be wise to partake in such delicacies.

My Step Dad was born and raised in Monterey and I was lucky enough to spend a few years living there while he was remodeling his house. Was up in the Bay Area quite a bit also and absolutely loved it. Your back yard is very beautiful. You are a very lucky man.

Yesterday.

Snowed pretty much all day for the last 3 days. But nice and sunny all day today and its melting off fast.

Years back I would always stay at least a week on the 3rd floor corner room at the Billabong. Just loved it there. This was a regular stay for many years. The noise was never a problem. Of course I never got in till 3 or 4 in the morning. But in the end the entire soi just got way to loud. Sad really as it was a great place to stay.

Kind of scary coming down off the mountain this evening....

Holly shit fest.... you mean that you actually made it to 65 years of age? Congratulations Lally , if there was ever a guy who deserved to live to fight another day it would be you. You are greatly loved and admired by many even though most of those rascals don't deserved to be loved themselves. You truly are a legend and it has been a great pleasure to know you my friend. Happy 65th!

Things have a tendency to break when you don't take care of them.

There have been many beautifully done tv series made over the years but currently my favorites are Blue Bloods, NCIS with Mark Harmon and Bosch.

As said before.. hated them as a kid but now like them As far as marmite.... 100% on the yuck side.

After my second shot a few weeks back of the Pfizer and the short lived ill effects that lasted only hours the next day. I have felt absolutely fine. Plus as many have said.... there is a peace of mind knowing that I have been proactive in taking steps to protect me and mine as best I can under the strange circumstances

I watched it also. Thought Meghan represented herself quite well. She and Harry both did a good job of telling their side of the story. Must admit that I was shocked with the headlines that the tabloids got away with printing. One referred to Meghans baby as a chimp.
