I love that today is my AA Birthday. It has been 29 years today since my last drink of alcohol and that just amazes the holy hell of me. I have not been hung over for 29 years. I have not had a DUI ( driving under the influence) in 29 years. I have not woken up in a strange city and not known how I got there in 29 years. I have not been arrested in 29 years. I have not woken up to discover that I am now married to a gal I dont even recognize...... and so on an so on It's been a great life being sober

I'm very much an optimist.... but regarding this opening up in Texas I find myself thinking that it's too soon to just throw the doors wide open again. We're just starting to get vaccinated but we haven't won the war yet. Time will tell.

I had my second shot of the Pfizer vaccine on the 27th. First shot had no side effects at all. Second was received on Saturday at 11:45am with nothing happening for the rest of the day. But Sunday woke up with a very sore arm am feeling a bit wacked out and really really tired. So went back to bed to rest and read. Ended up sleeping till 7pm. Got up and felt fine and the sore arm thing was totally gone. So not bad as far as side effects go.

i can guaranty you that they are still potent. They won't be full strength but with the quantities that you found they will still work very well.

I love that I was able to get my 2nd vaccine shot yesterday. Like boydeste above, I slept most the day today and now my arm doesn't hurt and I feel fine.

I slept most the day and it's now 7pm Sunday evening. The arms no longer sore and I feel fine.

Well here I am at 27 hours after getting the second shot and my arm is pretty sore. It's hard to raise it up to my shoulder and I've felt fairly lethargic/tired all day. But that's about it. That goodness Sunday is a day of rest.

Well that certainly didn't work out very well now did it. But it's all water under the bridge now. A lot of mistakes were made... some by smart well intending people and some by just plain idiots. But what matters now is where we go from here. I don't really care about who did what or more to the point... didn't do. What really matters is us all pulling together and getting this f##ker figured out and fixing it so it won't hurt anyone else.

Had the same experience here. As I reported after my first shot, it was all run very efficiently. We were in and out in no time. Everyone was well informed and well trained in their jobs. We all had a time slot in which to show up. If you were late you had to reschedule. Burden is on the individual to do their part and show up on time. And like you.... I thanked everyone I saw for all their hard work and dedication. They were all volunteers... not one paid person in the whole bunch.

That decision has proven to be a very sound one. It's nice when our government does something that actually turns out to be the right move.

So its official. I'm now a card carrying vaccinated old man. Ain't it grand.

NO. I was using the word jab so our English members would understand We call them a shot.... and not because we love our guns.... lol

Just crawling out of bed. Will be getting my second covid vaccine shot today. Am very much looking forward to getting it done with.

Will be getting my second jab in 4 hours.

And yes... it is also known in the US as gray tape.

Been a few months since I've looked in on this fine thread and am amazed that the US dollar to baht hasn't changed a bit. Doesn't make sense to me.. But TIT.

I grew up calling it duct ( with a T ) tape. Because in Arizona the heating and air conditioning trades used the best stuff to wrap the joints of their " duct " work in their heating and cooling systems. Of course all the construction trades used it. As the old saying goes; " with a roll of duct tape and bailing wire I can fix anything " Back then it was really great stuff.... but over the years the market was flooded with shitty brands and quality went to hell. But at last... Gorilla Tape has come out an excellent quality tape and my faith in all mankind has been renewed.

I'm a lovely shade of black. Very relaxing.
