    Recently woke up. Was up at 02.45 to drive a mate to Oxford for his coach to Heathrow. Called him at 10.30 to check all ok, apparently the coach broke down after 10 miles and they had to wait for a replacement. Hope my coach doesn't break down on Sunday.

    I think to stop creating rooster tail when riding on wet roads, but what do I know - never ride in the wet now. Mine's a toy not transport. Edit: that will have @galenkia down on me like a ton of bricks.

    I had original Minis, not easy to install Weber carbs. Have seen intakes protruding through the bonnet, one installation cut the firewall.

    Still have a pair of SU carbs believed to be for a Spitfire, bodies unused, dashpots and pistons secondhand though. Must be going on for 50 years old.

    Just bought 4 of the Tapo P100 plugs, controlled by phone or programmable and 2 of the P110 plugs, as P100 but include energy monitoring. With UK energy prices it's good to know where your money is going.
