What are you doing right now..? (Threads Merged)
forcebwithu replied to Lanzalad's topic in General topics
So that's what was going on last night. I was at King's Club and noticed they kept checking the camera feed outside. Was told they were watching for police to come. Decided I didn't need to be there when that happened so paid up and went over to Purple Club. At PC I was enjoying some private entertainment behind the curtain when I heard a bunch of Thai yakking back and forth. My lady said they got a call the police were coming. Fortunately it was just after she had made me another satisfied customer so paid up and went home. -
Someone else had a similar idea for naming their bar. Doubt it's topless though. On Bong Koch Soi 3.

Street Photographs From Pattaya Area

They've started on breaking up the concrete east of the Grand entrance on Soi 15. Looks like Grand residents will still have vehicle access as one lane is now open west of the entrance. -

Not sure what's so special about the soi I live on, but happy to see the workers out removing unused utility lines this morning. -

Here's an old post with a recommendation for an external cooling fan. @Pumpuynarak I take you decided not to pull the trigger back then on buying a new computer?
-
Good chance the cooling vents are blocked with accumulated dust. Same with the cool fan. I recently had to replace the cooling fan on my 3 year old laptop because the the dust had gotten into the bearings to the point the motor could no longer turn the blades. The quick and dirty solution is take the computer to someplace that has compressed air and give it a good cleaning with blasts of air into the vents. While you're at it, take your keyboard too and use the same cleaning method. You'll be surprised at the amount of gunk that accumulates in a keyboard.

Not the smartest move on their part to advertise to the BIB they have shisha available.
-
They use cookies to track your website clicks. Amazon probably has a marketing deal with FB and others to share that info, thus the reason you see ads for for the same and similar items on FB.

Perhaps if you were using a VPN that had your email address as part of the registration process they could have detected you accessing the E Consult site, then immediately sold that contact info off to the lawyer who had a bot ready to send you the spam email. But the VPN connection would not be able glean any medical data as your inputs would have been encrypted. eConsult delivers full compliance and state-of-the-art security

Another elbow test. -
Did a search for shortest duration which came up with an itinerary of 20 hr 26 min. The route though isn't through Europe. My flights were longer because I wanted to stick with Delta due to my status with them.

Could be the result of medication a person is on, particularly blood thinners which can lead to easy bruising.

Middle America even worse. Total travel time is at least 30+ hours door step to door step. My trips on the other hand are to visit family and after a couple of days I've had my fill and I'm chomping at the bit to make the long trip back to home (Thailand).

@cartoonman, Good to see you posting again. Heard you had an accident. Hope the recovery is going well for you.

Thailand to apply alcohol tax to non-alcoholic beer
forcebwithu replied to Bazle's topic in Living in Thailand
From the same article... Ekniti also said tax on e-cigarettes would be increased, according to KhaoSod. Seeing as E-cigarettes are illegal in Thailand, it is unclear how the tax will be applied, or is already being applied to ‘vapes.’ Unless Thailand is planning to legalise vaping anytime soon. Lunatics running the asylum. -

Not only a tripping hazard, but a hazard for those of us on bikes. Hitting those lights with skinny tires will throw the bike in an unexpected direction, most likely into oncoming traffic.

I was stranded at Barbie Bar during that storm. Flood waters were over the bottom run of the bar stools in the bar. The pissers in the back had shin deep water. Ended up calling my lady and telling her I wasn't going to make it home that night due to the flooding. Waded over to the Villa and got a room for the night, along with a long haired bed warmer.

Wonder how the powers that be decided Naklua Soi 18 was deserving of the embedded pavement lights, centerline as well as gutter lights no less! Some one has baht to burn.
