Could be the result of medication a person is on, particularly blood thinners which can lead to easy bruising.

Middle America even worse. Total travel time is at least 30+ hours door step to door step. My trips on the other hand are to visit family and after a couple of days I've had my fill and I'm chomping at the bit to make the long trip back to home (Thailand).

@cartoonman, Good to see you posting again. Heard you had an accident. Hope the recovery is going well for you.

Thailand to apply alcohol tax to non-alcoholic beer
forcebwithu replied to Bazle's topic in Living in Thailand
From the same article... Ekniti also said tax on e-cigarettes would be increased, according to KhaoSod. Seeing as E-cigarettes are illegal in Thailand, it is unclear how the tax will be applied, or is already being applied to ‘vapes.’ Unless Thailand is planning to legalise vaping anytime soon. Lunatics running the asylum. -

Not only a tripping hazard, but a hazard for those of us on bikes. Hitting those lights with skinny tires will throw the bike in an unexpected direction, most likely into oncoming traffic.

I was stranded at Barbie Bar during that storm. Flood waters were over the bottom run of the bar stools in the bar. The pissers in the back had shin deep water. Ended up calling my lady and telling her I wasn't going to make it home that night due to the flooding. Waded over to the Villa and got a room for the night, along with a long haired bed warmer.

Wonder how the powers that be decided Naklua Soi 18 was deserving of the embedded pavement lights, centerline as well as gutter lights no less! Some one has baht to burn.

The Chinese have taken the definition of sheeple to another dimension. Don't understand how millions allow their lives to be dictated by the few.

The new road surface on WS came through unscathed too. Soi 16 canal waters were running fast. One section of the footpath has been taken over by the jungle. -

A photo survey of the damage to the beach after last night's storm. On the north end near Soi 5 repairs underway. Surprisingly south of Klang I saw no beach erosion. Across from the Soi 13's in the past had some of the worst erosion. Today nothing. -
Age and alcohol have done a number on my mojo. Fortunately I have a couple of massage ladies I know that can help me find my mojo.

Noticed when passing Bling last night the interior was filled with the noxious fake smoke.

@Yesitisdakid, the question how the new road surface would effect flooding on WS has been answered. Edited to add: I would be giving those electric junction boxes a wide berth during the floods. https://www.facebook.com/Thepattayanews/posts/1239217290162611 -

Took a ride down Beach Rd and found the beach showing no signs of damage after last night's heavy and persistent rains. Quite an improvement from years past. Good thing too as it would have been embarrassing to have the Pattaya Beach Games with the beach washed away. -

We Yanks call them by their brand name Speedos, and with my Covid gut it would be embarrassing to put one on now, even in the privacy of my home. -

I was supposed to meet a couple of friends this morning for lap swimming. Now too wet to go swimming. -
The BIB are going to make a mint starting Monday on those caught riding without a helmet. Traffic fines see a hefty price spike on Monday

Back from a test ride of my new Suntour NCX Damping Suspension Seatpost. Wish I had tried this engineering marvel years ago. What a difference it makes in absorbing the small bumps in the road. Highly recommend even for casual riders. Takes some getting used to though as it feels like the seat is trying slow hump you as you ride. -
So what you're saying, "size does matter". My nurses barely gave my love tool a second glance. @KWA, glad you're on the mend. I had two stays at BPH in 2009 and 2011. Care was very good, but as good as it was I hope to not be a repeat customer.
