  1. What position would you suggest ??? The above stance is far more comfortable than the forward leaning sports bike position, plus not having a screen fitted he is in "clean air" and not subject to any of the buffeting that most screens produce. His footpegs look a tad high, but that's partly due to the low height of the motorcycle, i would imagine he would be comfortable enough to ride all day long........also he would get many an opportunity to stretch his legs whilst re-fueling due to having a small tank fitted.
  2. I admire your perseverance, well done Sir Dangle......
  3. You may well find that that is for the years road tax plus the compulsory insurance.
  4. Well Hugh, if you have the spare dosh and feel like trying it as a hobby/pastime, i wish you the very best of luck. I believe you have the right mindset for such a venture. I assume you will post on here the details if it ever actually happens, if so then i for one will certainly give you some patronage mate.....
  5. Well mate, at 7.8% it should certainly do the job.....
  6. "Little snack" is about right, but they do look very morish.....
  7. I would imagine he has a sheet of some kind inside the truck which can be deployed as and when needed. A sheet with elastic bungies attached can be fitted within seconds. Being a multi-drop delivery driver is FAR easier when you have easy access to the cargo.
  8. You poor chap, it's available in many places here in Pattaya, Big C, Foodland, Friendship and even Makro who also stock Beer Lao Dark, which to me is a most lovely brew and certainly gets the job done at 6%.
  9. Well done Laz'. Although Pakse area is quite flat there are many good places to visit, some of which are on my Flickr. The impressive waterfall that disappears deep into the underworld is well worth a look.
  10. I totally agree with what you say. And if you do visit Laos head north, you will find 'proper' mountains, not of the snow capped variety but certainly far more impressive than anything you will find in Thailand. Also whilst passing through the numerous small villages / communities you will see many people who are desperately poor ( by our standards ) but at the same time very happy and satisfied with their way of life. Look out for a Monk as they often speak English and are happy to give you advise on the local area. https://www.flickr.com/photos/24593178@N04/
  11. I have travelled to Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia many times before on my motorbike, plus a couple of times in the car, and never had any problem at all. As long as the green/blue book is in your name it's quite simple. Also at most border crossings you will find insurance agents so you can buy cover for whatever country you are entering. https://www.flickr.com/photos/24593178@N04/
  12. A few years back, this lovely little thing used to 'float my boat'.....
  13. I assume in the attached video that Jimmy the Bastard was using French's style mustard, Colman's would be VERY hard to do...... I cracked up when he paused to say 'fucking nice'. Personally i find French's or similar style mustard bloody awful, but of course we all have our own likes and dislikes. If Colman's is too strong for some then simply try putting less on..... Hard to find here in Thailand, but Tewkesbury mustard was a big favourite of mine when in the UK. 14. Also a very good match with a few beers too. I very much prefer when the eggs are pickled in a proper dark malt vinegar.
  15. Mr. Camp ( that don't sound too good, 5555 ) I'm a coffee addict and also have a bean-to-cup machine. I've tried numerous brands of beans, some quite silly money, but since i tried this one in the attached link i'm more than happy. A small company called Bluekoff, 135bt for a 250grm pack, buy four packs or more it's free delivery. my fave is the blue colour pack 'A5'. I normally order 6 bags, or rather the Mrs. does for me, and whoever it is at Bluekoff roasts the beans to order and despatches them the very next day. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/bluekoff-a5-100-a-dark-roast-250-i907082778-s1835268328.html?dsource=share&laz_share_info=240155105_2_100_8000895_230009466_null&laz_token=e962774100940f3496a35640db8b176f&exlaz=e_iqeJxmuQOjPGip8qo24MCSTeQCjDld4siVQ4kY1ODqrCXvTKdNAtBb55%2BgIiSkmNnXkPoNuoMIIpR8IEI%2FLi1U0sC6tUOx2TD3WnASIas1Y%3D&sub_aff_id=social_share&sub_id2=240155105&sub_id3=8000895&sub_id6=CPI_EXLAZ
  16. And the red thing in front appears to be a trike, a proper one as the twin wheels are at the front. It would be interesting to see it in more detail...
  17. Looking at that is putting perverse thoughts in my mind, i hope i'm wrong......
  18. I'd love to be sitting next to you Jambo. Other than being close to my very few family members, proper real ale and castles are about all i miss from the UK....... In my local boozer i had my own straight pint glass, an old and quite heavy one, the etched marking was GR which i assume was related to King George ??? Enjoy your ale and forget about the diet for a couple of hours mate......
  19. Can somebody please point out the car, i'm having trouble finding it !!!!
  20. Fully understand that Butch, they are crafty little buggers, i have a similar problem with Twiglets......
  21. I would think not too many of those in the UK, i've seen 4 or 5 over the years here in Thailand. Also i've seen a couple of their big Roller type limos and just one of the Roadsters which looked really well, it was displayed in Central Plaza so i had a good nose about including sitting inside. It's also available in the UK at a pretty good price too. Maybe the Americans on here would like the Corvette(ish) clone ?? https://www.mitsuoka-motor.co.uk/ The other models are on their Global site. https://www.mitsuoka-motor.com/global/lineup/
  22. Well it sounds, being new on here, that there is something of which i am not aware of. If my post is out of order then i put my hands up........
  23. Mr. Gal', whilst i commend your willpower and respect your choice, i think i would rather die !!!!
