Come to think of it I haven't rode a bus in Thailand in a very long time. If I need to go upcountry, Hua Hin or BKK, I have enough Thai connects to hire one of them out to drive me where I need to go. If too far, by car, most anywhere is just a plane ride away.

According to this article it seems that The Transport Co. have only enacted this rule. Other inter-provincial bus providers like Nakhonchai Air and Sombat Tour bus companies said that foreigners are welcome to board. Foreigners are also allowed to board long-distance trains. Yup! You walk into the food stall area of the market off Buakow near the R-Con. 40 feet on the right, he has a small stall with the ribs in one of those large wood/clay pots. He sells it by the kilo at a reasonable price. If he's moved location in the market, you'll find him eventually. Before he moved up to the market years back, he set up in front of Tesco on Buakow for many years. Delicious BBQed ribs !!

My condo pool opened today here in the States and it was a glorious swim. Had to go @ 4pm because it was less crowded. During the day it's a cluster f**k. You have to sign and wait your turn and they rotate the list every 30 minutes. This is due to the stipulation put on the pools where only 25% capacity of people can be in pool at a time. I will skirt this by taking my two daily swims in the early morning and late afternoon.

Pools are opening in my State this weekend. I need that right now as that's my favorite exercise. My condo pool here won't have the feel as my condo pool in Thailand. But, I will pretend.

You talking about that stall on the right hand side as you walk in about 20 m? If so, that guy consistently sells delicious racks of BBQed ribs. Been hitting him up for 2 years now.

Handwriting will soon be a thing of the past. Give it time and kids will look at a pencil or pen in a museum and say, "Dad, so you mean to tell me you used a piece of yellow wood and scratched it onto paper in school?" ~~while the kid continues to type away on his smartphone. Writing is dying.

I have been coming to Patts for quite some time. There is a beach in Pattaya? Ya learn something new everyday.

Don't me wrong - there are dudes in my condo area with garages, fixing their bikes or restoring one. Love hanging out with these fellas and watching them work. Good times. Most bikers in the west have a way better grip on safety than Somchai 4 to a bike with no helmets in the LOS. I respect bikers here in the States, but not so much in the LOS and a few other SEA countries.

Same same Aside from dirt bikes as a kid, I have never driven a motorbike ever. I even stopped riding on motorbike taxis. Walking, baht busses, car taxis, Skytrain, etc. suit me just fine. I might just live a little longer. (Walking can still be dodgy at times depending on the area.)
