Hilton , Hooters , Mulligans and TQ - Me much dissapoint.

I visited all 4 venues over the span of one afternoon / evening.

Hooters first (now closed down going by some reports on some YT channels). Service was slow, and wrong. I ordered a scwheppes manao and boneless chicken wings , I got the wings ok but the schweppes manao morphed into a Soda water.. The cheeky buggers still wanted a tip on top of the service charge. If Hooters has gone, then adios to the great Chicken wings during Happy hour and good riddance to the other overpriced items.

TQ- Great A/C and really good draft chang, still served and poured in front of you, as it should be. A bit smoky, but that's what happens if you go into a bar that allows smoking, so that's on me and my choice as a non smoker. girls were actually pretty good, I got chatting to a girl who worked previously in sales, mediocre English, cracking body and the boat race wasn't too bad. I wasn't really attracted so waved her goodbye and then got pinged by the shark. Plenty of tattoos, a few piercings and false tits, what's not to like and surely a potential wife in the making. After 2 min of conversation the begging bowl was out for a drink. I waved her goodbye and it was rinse and repeat for the next girl re asking for a drink.

I love TQ, but the girls are getting very difficult. The music, the beer, the A/C and the eye candy is brilliant, but c'mon, no need for the drink sluts.

mulligans, a good people watching venue, but this time complete with rats running in and out of the broken floorboards. Attracted by the food market nearby, or me (I can't decide) the Singha beer in big glasses at 99 baht was good value. Plenty of BR girls coming and going, plus the eye candy korean babes wandering in and out of the Hilton...

Which leads me on to my melancholy bit, I wanted to sit and be alone right on the top floor viewing area with a bottle of Red and my thoughts for company. Top was full up so I opted for the other lounge that serves expensive cocktails. I grabbed a sofa, my view only to be interrupted by a pushy korean / Chinese / Asian (delete as applicable) girl having professional photo's done in view of the sunset. However, the photographer decided my Sofa was a good point for him to take pics from, and stood right in front of me snapping away like a Japanese tourist, that was until I told him to f**k off. Cue one dirty look from both him and her, graciously returned, he used another vantage point.

I duly moaned to the management that wankers with phones are one thing, but wankers with high end sony gear interrupting others is another thing entirely. I moaned enough apparently, or enough to get a to get a free G&T.

Shame really, because I was deep in thought as my head was in a mess, but this twat kept distracting me. Anyway, for those wondering, I did manage to come to a conclusion mentally, in that a Jaffa Cake is indeed a cake and not really a biscuit, despite being marketed as such and found with the other biscuits in the biscuit aisle of any given supermarket.
