Treated wifey yesterday afternoon to a day at the spa for NYE. As you can see, she has the Thai girl "Duck Feet" You know the gap between the pinky toe and the next one. Great for treading water LOL! Her manicurist was cute though and was rewarded with a 500 baht tip, she was quite happy. Came back home, she cooked a great dinner and then we both fell asleep at 11:00pm. Happy New Years to everyone.

I might be " stretching" a bit here with some of the personalities on this board but............wifey and I went and saw " Avatar" last night here.......not a real big fan of this type of movie but geez.....the visuals and the overall story line was just outstanding. Got to give it up to James Cameron, that guy knows how to make a great story, into a great movie. Just my opinion of course. Just a side note here, hit " Sizzler" at Fashion Island Mall before the show right? See that lady in the wheelchair? Was taking a pic of wifey, finish up, she kind of looks at me, always try to be respectful of the elders here, I throw up "The Wai" and say " Sa Wa Dee Krap" She looks at me with the "Death Stare" and says " I speak English you know, where are you from"?? Geeez.....I tell her I am from America, wifey kind of has a smile on her face. She asks me " What are you doing here then"? Geeez....I tell her I am married to Rachanee and I live here now. At this point, the family that she is with kind of takes over and talks to Rachanee....she then says something in Thai to Rachanee and I ask her what did she say to you? She asked me if you buy everything for me? WTF?? I think Grandma was getting an early start on NYE and was hitting " The sauce" before dinner tonite. Seriously... I love this place LOL!

Cliff, My Dad had " Rezum" procedure in his Urologist office I believe in 2002 when he was only 66 years old at the time if I remember correctly. After that, it seemed all went well as far as his Prostate. Just got back from Fashion Island Mall for dinner......wifey is having a "beary" good time. Jesus H. Christ....I got to go to the mall more often.....................................at night! Wish I could help you, but wifey and I both have AIA for Health Insurance here. I asked her to give me an honest opinion, as to whether they would give you a fair and comprehensive analysis without trying to "upsell you" for things you don't really need. I did not get the impression they would.

My wife is not happy about the locals not reporting the infection rates....she wrote someone on Social Media supposedly where you can tell "some official" in the Gov't about problems like this. I do not have to say it...but.......you know no one is going to read this at all. I got to give it up to wifey, we ALL bash Thailand at times, myself included about things here, she cuts her own country no slack either, when she feels the Gov't is not on top of things. But....I can tell you first hand, that when she feels people are basing Thailand and they are clearly wrong, you do not want to deal with her......believe me. She like most of us, are now concerned that with the current outbreak in China, she is now in worry mode again. She has had 5 shots, I have had 4. I told her to relax.....use common sense, we can't live our life in fear anymore.

Cal, yeah we arrived back here Oct 12th at her home in Minburi. We had a blast in USA for almost 4 years, waited until all the Covid crap settled a bit, as she got there May 2019 to help me with my Mom after my Dad died. Mom did not last long, 10 months after she passed away too. 65 years they were married. Got their house sold in Aug 2022, settled all the estate and we are back here now. My home is still there, it is killing me to have to pay a "property mgmt" company every month! But some one has to look out after it for me, as no one else is around now you now.

Well....a 20 minute drive for me is not really all that bad. Now if I was single and picked up a gal for an LT back in the day, part of the fun for me would be when we were in the back of the taxi both buzzed......and she was fondling my "dingleberries" before we get to the room. Maybe I'm just different LOL!

We have stayed here 4-5 times over the years. We get the room made of Clay, Igloo shaped really cool. It is off the beaten path, no problem at all for "company" as I have seen many guys bringing their lovelies back here. About a 20 minute drive to downtown, we are staying here Feb 13th-17th. Great prices and very fair we both have found over the years. Taxis will pick you up no problem here to take you where ever you want to go. Hit Impact again Saturday, as they had 3 exhibitions going on all in one location. OTOP...If you have ever been to this before, you will know all of what goes on here. All local Thai stuff, Jewelry, Women's Clothes, all kinds of things for the house, Lotions, Potions, Thai Herbs and of course Food! If I believed all of what these gals told me about the Lotions, I would live to be 150 years old. 😇 Of course when we get to the Jewelry area, wifey tries on this "Jade" Bracelet. I get the "Puppy Dog Eyes" look of course. @Aqualung Steve, help me out here...how much did it cost you? I thought I hit the Lottery....she tries on this bracelet......I am thinking this is $6-7K Baht right? I utter those dreadful words we all hate to this lady "Tao Rai Krap" She looks at me and says "Neung Pan" I about disclocated my shoulder, I couldn't get my money out of my wallet fast enough? Sportsworld...Across the street we hit Sportsworld where we got wifey a few new Sports Bras, new Ankle Weights and I picked up some new "Saucony" running shoes. All priced very fair. HomePro...Down the hall we stopped in HomePro where they had a ton of things. Wifey convinced me we need this new fancy, dancy "Dyson" Air Conditioner/Humidifer for the upstairs room. Ok, this thing has no sound coming out of it at all and spins 360 degrees in every direction.....very cool.
