I love Joe Walsh. I met him in Phoenix a million years ago. I have never met anyone who hit the alcohol and drugs as hard as he did. I had a good friend that was a music promoter and brought a lot of the big names into Phx for performances. It was a wild and crazy time. He has been clean an sober now for a long time.

I loved the 70s... well except for that little skirmish over in the "bad place" Like the old saying went... it's all sex drugs and rock an roll. It was cool cars and some of the greatest music ever made. It was laid back and seemed so much easier.

Well here I am in the Denver Airport. I've got a 3 hour layover here and then off on a lovely 13 hour flight to Tokyo. It's a great opportunity to catch up on all the movies that I didn't really want to watch in the first place.

Wheels up Durango tomorrow morning ( March 12th) at 7am for Denver. Dgo to Denver 2 hours. Denver to Tokyo 13 hours. Tokyo to Bangkok 7 hours. Taxi to Pattaya 1 1/2 hours. I arrive Bkk just after midnight, gather luggage, out to taxi stand and arrive Pattaya around 2:30 am on. All in all it will be a 30 hour travel day. Its a brutal day but worth every minute. I thinks its been 3 years since I last strolled down Walking Street

Just got back from 2 weeks in Maui. A lovely place to relax

We had meatloaf, scallop potatoes and a nice little salad. Always one of my favorites.

Did up a bit of a beef noodle mixture for the GF last night. We both liked it very much.

Been a bit of time since I've posted. The major improvement that I noticed going through the last bunch of pages is that the menus and photo skills of everyone here have improved immensely. I guess 2 years of covid will do that to a person.
