coxyhog
302-7 at stumps. I hope note is taken that Foakes not only scored second to Root(so far) but he faced more balls than those above him in total could manage bar Root. That & he's the best English keeper by far. We had an excellent afternoon and evening sessions. Agree about Foakes, he hung around long enough and we'll enough to support Rooooooot, who played as we want him to play. Having said that, India did bowl well in the morning, and apart from Bairstow, did anyone get out to bazball style shots?

Shame Robinson decided to go bazball and reverse sweep, and as for the no 10's slog.... Let's hope the pitch plays up a a bit 😀

coxyhog
182-7....with the state of this pitch any first innings lead could/should be crucial.

The new spinners have been doing well this tour. Nice to see others getting a chance instead of the usual faces. There was a time unless you played for Yorkshire or Surrey you might as well not get your hopes up.

Painter
England 100 - 2 at lunch. Ducket caught (excellently) at cover trying to slog to leg.. Pope, having been out playing off the back foot in previous tests, was determined to play off the front foot, a mile down the pitch, and missed... Will the middle order fire or flop?
