No change as used to spending time at home. I am very disciplined re food and fitness. Play the markets now and again, albeit nervously.

Have been upgraded a few times with Emirates, and enjoyed the experience. Appeals more as I get older have to admit. The issue for me, is I would rather spend the extra dosh on accommodation. End of the day, its three months comfort and convenience, vs a days comfort. whilst travelling.

Not good. Hate the humidity in Thailand. Now in the UK, the temperature in the evening is good for me.

Steady with my weight but the garden has kept me fit. Lumping rocks for a new project. Problem, I get tired more easily so try and set a modest goal and if I exceed that, its a bonus more mentally than anything else.

Something that is always in the back of my mind. I am all to aware that my dad and his brothers, all died in their sixties. My mum was 92 when she passed away, but women do tend to outlive men by 20 odd years. Having said that, I seem to be following my mums genes re Diabetes and other stuff etc.. Regrets... we should not look back but I wish I had realised that marriage was not for me at an earlier age. The financial and emotional fall out was considerable. Looking ahead, focus on the present with as much optimism as is possible.

IMO... Most posts offer opinions/thoughts on current topics. Rarely facts unless reported officially.

Sent 5k a month ago, she asked for 1500 and she wasn't someone I had been with and not that attractive really. Assumed she may not have many customers willing to help. Its a drop in the ocean for us, but hopefully it made a small difference.

I called Emirates after having to pay to fly back with EVA. Told they are too busy and have a backlog. Guess will have to wait. I insisted on a refund not vouchers. Will have to wait and see what transpires.

Bought a couple of older PC's and converted to Linux. Phone wise got a Redmi note 7 budget model, but seems good value.

Single came back a few days ago from Thailand. Got to say I thought I wanted to settle down but after a Thai gf stayed in the UK for five months, was relieved when she went home. Lovely girl, quiet easy going but it was just I preferred on my own. I have been married a few times before which may be the reason. Sometimes what we want, and what we need is very different.
