    Bought one of these way back in the late 70's. It got stolen but I got it back. The coppers even told me the address of the pr**ks who stole it.

    I think it's a non-native 'exotic' that someone released ot it escaped. That would explain it. I'm pretty sure it's not Australian, and as it's got nothing to mate with I guess it won't last too long.

    Never heard or seen one of those. Strange pattern for Australia. The thin tail suggests Death Adder but the colour is way wrong.

    Are they still free in the UK? and last till you are 70 or so? Here in Oz you have to pay every time you re-new.

    Reminds me of an incident that happened on the Pacific Hwy. just outside Murwillumbah back in the early 2000's. A truck full of bottled beer left the road and ended up in the Tweed Rived, around lunchtime. Virtually all local workers took the rest of the day off, grabbed their scuba gear, tinnies etc. and did their civic duty and cleaned it all up. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=570254130562611

    Saw him for free also. Leeds Uni, Beck, Boggert and Appice back in the late 70's, or early 80's. OK from memory. Used to work security there.

    What I do is to put my wallet in the front pocket of my shorts then twist the pocket through 180 deg. Your leg keeps it in place. But good to know. Thanks.
