Exactly Coxy. They don't half look pathetic sitting on the sidewalk. In fact, when I go into the city again and see these western guys basically begging, I'm hoping there is a little old Thai lady or a blind Thai guy genuinely in need (maybe) next to them. I'll glady drop them some baht and make it known to the western wasters.

Me and the TW were in town yesterday visiting her hairdresser and doing a bit of shopping at Siam Paragon and Siam Centre. Within a space of 300 metres there were at least 3 farangs sat around with a mat on the floor trying to sell tacky beaded bracelets and necklaces. Each one of them had a cardboard sign blatantly asking to "Go Fund my World Tour" and suchlike. Cheeky buggers and have no shame. I doubt the money they do make wouldn't get them to the end of the soi let alone around the world!

I stumbled across his video regarding the passing of his young wife. Awful situation to be in. Early days yet as what he should do regarding the 2 babies. For me, and me only I would with the blessings of the Thai family involved, return to his own country with them. I really can't see how he could sustain being a father figure to them otherwise. That said, I don't know his financial circumstances. Tough times and decisions ahead.

Just watching my TW and her family and friends devour 3 tubs of various deep fried grubs and insects. They can't help themselves can they? They just have to dangle the bloody things in front of your face and place one or two on your legs when you least expect it! Got to love the little darlings... Not the insects but the Thai lasses.!

Perfect flight from CPH to Swampy. Landed on time and just in time for the perfect thunderstorm! That delayed the baggage belt for nearly 30 minutes. Plenty of folks about at 6 am but immigration was relatively quiet. The taxi trip to Don Mueang was not..... Nothing changes there. Anyways, happy to be here for my first trip during the wet season.... Didn't expect it to be so so humid. Knackered now and a first for.... I'll be in bed before 10 pm tonight. Im turning into a lightweight I reckon.

12 hours now... From Copenhagen. Direct with Thai then return with Scandinavian Airlines. Wife's suitcase is full of pound shop stuff pluses a few chocolate bars ( do they taste different in Thailand?) My suitcase is far from full... Me underwear is to big and I've no white coloured trainer socks.... First stop 4pm Wednesday.. The fucking dentist! Kop khun khrap teerak.

I don't get it at all.... Whilst I don't particularly like surgery on a lass there will be times they will want or need it for self esteem purposes.. Ie... Bit of a boob job or a tummy tuck. But those duck lips.... By christ! I've yet to meet any guy who finds them attractive. They are absolutely horrendous. The instant a woman has that procedure done becomes instantly unattractive to me. Seems to me they love themselves the vain buggers.

Found this interesting as opposed to a Netflix movie I viewed last which was probably the shittest thing I've watched that didn't include Keanu wooden Reeves or that soon to imprisoned Russell Brand twat. " fair play" was the movie. Nice bit of eye candy but that's about it... Utter tripe.

I've only been a pillion passanger also... On a powerful motorcycle . That was enough for me even though, at the time, it was a thrill. I would however love to learn to drive a motorcycle but whilst I would worry about myself I would be more worried about the shite car drivers out there with no sense of anticipation.

Decided I'd had enough at 55 and cashed in a long standing personal pension. 3 months later, the company I worked for went tits up and I missed out on 21 years redundancy money!! Som nam na as they say. But I also knew that I had another company pension to rely on.... Now dipped into that, as I had to care for my mother. Working wasn't really an option. Almost 4 years on I'm OK financially for now. My pension money has been spent, as as the money my mother left me. So I'm just living on my second pension at the moment which is OK. Im able to help my wife pay the bills here in Sweden from my UK rental income and my pension... But christ almighty I'm bored. But that's my own stupid fault. Next year I hope to sell my house back in the UK.... Currently valued at £225000. If that lasts me 10 years... Great, but I think I'll be dead by then. Retirement is great but sometimes, if you have nowt to do, it's bloody boring. Miss the people I used to work with but that's about it.

Just be aware Pump as you already know. You get what you pay for. Tvs by themselves arent built for sound quality so don't waste 40k on a spoundbar unless you want to replace you current TV to some monster edition. Sennheiser, who I swear by regarding headphones have a monster of a spoundbar. It's terribly expensive and a waste of time. Midrange is the way to go imho. I think you can improve on your current set up but not by much. And much depends on the quality of what you are viewing on your TV. My set up is good for me, but as I live in an apartment block I have to be careful re the volume as my Syrian neighbours get pissed of at listening to Black Sabbath, AC/ DC etc etc. Good luck with your purchase. You'll be fine.

Just brilliant Glass. The song you posted is from the brilliant "Love" album. Every song apart from one is great. Sadly, after that album and one or two great tunes from the "sonic temple" album... They turned to shite never to recover. Maybe apart from the odd song on the "electric" album. Not bad for a bunch of sheep shaggers from West Yorkshire!!

Yes of course they do. So maybe a trip to BKK. I've been a part time audiophile since my teens and the what hi-fi magazine I used to buy was particularly helpful in sourcing good quality budget hi - fi which would perform just aswell as overpriced Bang and Olufson gear. In fact it opened my eyes to some real quality stuff. When it comes to a TV, here in Sweden it's difficult to find my favourite brand of TV which is Panasonic so I had to make do with a Sony Bravia ( turned out to be a good choice) As for my sound bar and subwoofer I bought Samsungs expecting nothing but mediocrity. I could have gone for Denon or JBL but I'd already spent enough. Turned out they were adequate for what I needed and sounded great. My audio needs for TV aren't as important to me as audio for musical needs. That's another story.
