john luke Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I received this as an e mail recently. I have never used US dollars at all with either my Wise account or card? The obvious question is whether or not this is a scam. Have any other members with Wise accounts received this? Needless to say I have not clicked on any links on the e mail. I will merge this post later with the Scams thread but wanted to highlight what I think may be an important issue. 1
Derek Dangleberries Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 I haven't received anything from Wise like that ...
Stillearly Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 I haven't received anything either check the email address it came from , that's usually a big giveaway
forcebwithu Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 You can also hover the cursor over the link to view where it would take you if you were to click on it. Chances are if it's a scam the URL at the beginning of the link will not be a Wise site, but one that is similar in spelling and/or has a domain name ending in something other than .com, which is what Wise uses. 1
