Horizondave Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Just for info for those interested, Cebu Pacific will be starting flights between Clark (Angeles) and Bangkok from April. I probably would not use the flight ex Bangkok as the early arrival in Clark really doesn't rock my boat but maybe the return would be acceptable. https://www.msn.com/en-ph/news/other/cebu-pacific-expands-clark-hub/ar-AA1804rW According to the Cebu Pacific website the flight timings are: Dep CRK: 7:15PM Arr BKK: 9:50PM Dep BKK: 10:50PM Arr CRK: 3:20AM 2

Yesitisdakid Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 And it will arrive at Terminal 3 where the Genesis bus leaves from that will be convenient but even it will be more interesting to see the times.

Trying to see the times, but I know they will operate Tuesday/Thursday and Sunday. The Cebu Pacific website is absolutely amateurish and it seems they haven't loaded all the flights. I did manage to see a screenshot (bloody poor quality) which shows the flight timing from Manila to be 1925 arriving into Don Mueang at 2200 so assume the return will be arriving early morning into Manila. Personally I would stick to PAL or THAI but might work for some.

I would assume there would be the demand if people are buying these flights with shitty times. Maybe there's more expensive gate time or at the airport or something I don't know. The trip I have coming up to the Philippines I'm flying Philippine Air I don't mind leaving at 4:00 a.m. as I'll arrive at 8:30 a.m. and not lose that whole day. 1
Chang_Paarp Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 Cebu Pacific is painful to deal with online, their site and app are designed by people who have never caught more than one flight. The online check-in is transfered from the app back to the main web site and your boarding pass is on the main site not the app. I screen shotted it. Also be aware the seat pitch is horrified ble. I f you are taller than the average dwarf your knees are into the seat in front of you. If the person in front decides to put their seat back, your knees get crushed. The person in front of me onMonday learned the seat back can go forward very quickly, it took a couple of goes before they got the message. 1
biggles Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 (edited) Another thing to be aware of is the 'add ons". Travel insurance is hard to delete, at 78 they won't cover me tho they automatically include it. you actually have to delete it twice. Always check the summary on the payments page before you pay. Living in the Philippines we use them a lot. What I find annoying is that most times when you do on-line check in, you get to the counter and there is no 'baggage drop' queue so you have to join the crowd anyway! I tend to avoid Cebu Pacific as I once had a major problem when booking online. Flight booked and paid for, credit card accepted online only to get a message 1 hour later from Cebu Pacific saying the Merchant had rejected my credit card. A check with the credit card company said there was no problem and payment had been taken. Took me 3 months to get my money back which was only actioned after I called their Manila customer services from Thailand, which in itself cost me money. You get a list of questions you must answer despite telling them the answers to every question in my first sentence describing the problem. I would only travel on Cebu Pacific now, if I was in the Philippines, probably going on a flight within 24 hours and paying cash. I doubt that will ever happen.
