Popular Post Phantom51red Posted April 16 Author Popular Post Share Posted April 16 (edited) Last night for food stalls at the pier,it was pretty dead,sat for a while with 1 drink enjoying the breeze and thai music.A navy boat was tied up at end of pier,they usually have a 1 night stop here when heading further south. Popular Post Phantom51red Posted April 17 Author Popular Post Share Posted April 17 (edited) After dropping ting tong at work decided to hit the beach and go for a swim,once I get pcx tomorrow hopefully, the routine of dropping her at work will change. A red flag was bobbing around in the water not far from where I was swimming,no idea why,maybe some rocks just underneath the surface,but been many times in this area its never been there before tit. Ting tongs alarm goes off every morning 6am,feck it today went up to the hill before 7 then down to the beach for a swim,great start to the day but probably feel it later. Same here,I find between 8 and 10 is the best time for swimming while the water is generally flat,and like you say tide is out,after lunch starts coming back in,this time of year anyway. There must have been some bad weather between Jan and April,as I noticed bottom of the soi across from market village the concrete has being smashed,further along some steps leafing up to private residential area s have also been taken by the sea,bit of a mess it is,cheers. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Popular Post Phantom51red Posted April 24 Author Popular Post Share Posted April 24 Some pics from Kanchanaburi,I'm staying at the rivet kwai resort pool access room,1800 bht but asked for discount and got it for 1600 for 3 nights. It's quite, I'm in a corner room so perfect,just seen 1 thai family yesterday,this morning a couple of falang older couples ,they might be here for anzac day tomorrow. The bars mostly were busy last night,I think again because anzac day tomorrow, from what I heard lots of aussie s Had a few drinks in 2 bars but nothing of interest, add to that the usual older lady trying her luck with new falang in town,fs then her mate came over after making it obvious I wasn't playing, she had bigger teeth ! with enough spaces for cars to drive through,anyhow did a sharp exit to a nearby restaurant at about 11pm,back to room called ting tong to tell her I been a good man,didn't necessarily plan on that but hey ho. Not a soul to be seen,no wonder in this heat. Phantom51red Posted Wednesday at 10:32 AM Author Share Posted Wednesday at 10:32 AM Some pics from the temple and museum,before these while driving through the army base I found a free zoo,wasn't a nice place to be honest,gibbons,maquak s,black bear and other animals all locked up in small cages,I bought some buckets of fruit and fed them,it's sold by army guys who run the place.
