Why does my TOTR Samsung J1 phone lol keep converting SMS to MMS ?ing

Anyone know a solution to the problem as recipients can't open them i'm told.

There's nothing more "simple" than me regarding Com knowledge lol, i think its got something to do with the length of the message.

I wouldn't have thought so as a long SMS just becomes 2 (or more) messages to my knowledge.

Thanks, the other thoughts i've had is it my outdated J1 phone thats just not up to the job.

Emojis, graffiti for the illiterate, may be treated as images hence MMS.

Stick strictly to text and see how it goes.

Just did a quick google search for ya, it's as you say to do with length of text, here it suggests you set up a warning to let you know when its too large for sms.
