john luke
From this morning's walk. Free Food distribution - see below linked thread. https://www.thailand-247.com/topic/4517-food-for-thought/?do=findComment&comment=188049 Although the shot freezes the action the speed of this vehicle I estimate at 30 MPH, which I would suggest is fast for a scooter. With the lack of visitors, would it not be wise to agree between themselves to work for half the time on a rota basis. Entrance to Dusit Thani. Finally a plug for Laundry Express; probably not the cheapest laundry service in Pattaya but they do offfer a proffessional service at a faiir price. They are open 0800 to 1600 hours Monday to Saturday (inclusive). They also do dry cleaning. 4
lazarus
I see this everyday in the city where I live in the US. Thousands of people live on the street and always long lines at food banks.

john luke
A visit to Jontien this afternoon. The concentration of bars in Jontien is less than in Pattaya. Obviously bars are closed, shops, restuarants and massage shops are open. Fewer visitors but overall quieter but not dead. Photograph 12 of the pigeon with its head through a slice of bread; I have no idea how it happened. 2

That's the pigeon equivalent of a four baht gold chain. 😉 2

john luke
There is life and activity in Pattaya between 0700 and 0830 hours. A few from this morning's walk. It is lottery day today. All this and I had a hair cut all before 0830 am.

Buddha forbid the Thai's should ever have a brain fart and realize it might be better to do their cable laying first and then put in a new footpath. 2

john luke
From this morning's walk; no direct sun, warm and a gentle breeze. The air felt fresh and clean; all the shots were taken from Beach Road and no significant haze or mist on the photographs. 1

john luke
The highlight of this afternoon was the purchase of a belt. I am a big fan of Asian Markets so a few shots from Pattaya Night Bazaar. A walk through tree town and then towards Tuk Com and then a coffee with Mister Egg. A couple of shots then taken on the way home from the baht bus. The tortoises were a suprise; I was under the impression that they were not allowed to be kept as pets. 6
