    During one of my early days,was staying in Eastiny 7 opposite Pig and Whistle. Got in the lift and noticed the other passenger was a ladyboy.Waited for her to leave before I got out.I used to think it was embarrassing in those days.

    Just had a few days in St.Helier,Jersey and a pint of Peroni was £7.50.Jersey used to be really cheap compared to UK.Even petrol was dearer.

    When we went decimal I was buying 10 fishing lures at 75 pence each and the young lad used a calculator I gave him the correct money already in my hand. He said how did you know that.I said I went to school.

    I was going through security at Ft.Myers airport and gave the agent my passport and he asked me if I had any ID.

    Just thought my eyesight was failing. So decided to clean my glasses and realised one of the lenses had fallen out.😀

    We booked him several times for our fishing club annual presentation. He was always great fun .His agent used to say don't buy too many drinks I have to get him home.RIP.

    I seem to remember Ali Babas was about the only Indian restaurant about 2004. It had bad reviews even then.

    I was in my boat after coming back from a days fishing. While waiting for the lockgates to open my friends wife called to say what had happened.A few minutes later she called to tell us about the next one.

    My first trip was 2004 and stayed at the Sunbeam.Great hotel in that time.Used either soi 2 or Soi 7/8. Breakfast used to be at Bob's u2 bar soi 8.

    Washington Square Think there was Irish bar Soi Cowboy run by older lady,did a great free buffet Paddy's day. Eden club.

    I'm off to Jersey in September.Will try some meals especially with Jersey Royals Lived there for 4 years 1968 to 1972.
