Yep, there is clearly a message in that plate. Asian style....

If not more than twice a month its bearable !

I cook,

and when my wife is here with me, I cook for both of us.

We both cook. She used to cook only the Asian stuff, but since more than 2 years is good at some western stuff as well.

She even learned to cook pasta "al dente" and not as a sloppy mess they usual do !

Next step "stoofcarbonade  met bier" ? ?

PS : My ex was a great cook, she learned when studying in France. I lost something on that part.....

The owner is belgian, does he label his fries as "French Fries" on his menu?

Well not really that important of course.

The only places I know here in Bangkok which label their fries as being " Belgian Fries" are the " Hobs" ( House of Beers ).

Dinner for two at Mai Thai.  1181 Baht; this did include one speciality beer and a glass of house wine.  Pork schnitzel, French fries and small side salad, another pork dish served with steamed rice.

From the first pic of la Corne I knew where you'd been. Absolutely first class food in there and I can almost taste the lamp rock as I type.

I will check what the menu calls them.  I tend to use the term French Fries rather than the term chips.

Went to a place here in Sanur called L.B.V.   Well, it used to be Le Bon Vivant but some smart ass thought using an meaningless abrevation would be a good idea...

Western food, french orientated.

So I went for the "sole meuniere" on the menu.

And this thing was served :

Now, dont get me wrong, it was not bad but this is definitively not sole meuniere, it is breaded cod with mash FFS and it sure doesn't justify a 300b price tag.

I hate when using this kind of tricks. Lucky I did not order the "moules marinieres" .....

Needless to say I will make a little comment on T.A., and this place is of my list.
