Jambo
Had my first attempt at making corn beef hash for my Sunday watching footy supper. Except I couldn't wait for the footy to start. 😀 From the base upwards: Fried onions; tinned corn beef; worcester sauce;baked beans; mashed potatoe Turned out great. 🙂 2
Evil Penevil
Caprese salad- fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil drizzled with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. It cost the equivalent of 160 baht at a Shoprite in northern New Jersey. Evil

I said brunch because I ate it at 12 but yeah it's basically today's breakfast. I love noodle soup and eat it for breakfast most days in Thailand and usually on Sunday at home. Perfectly suitable for brunch if you are into Thai food.

john luke
Dinner for two at Mai Thai. Not included in the photographs is the steamed rice served with the shrimp dish. A glass of Heinekin each. Total cost 920 baht. Took the opportunity this evening to book a table for dinner on Christmas Day. It will not be a traditional Christmas Dinner, but I am not paying 3200 for the Dusit Thani and two years ago paid just under 1000 baht for a buffet dinner that was at best slightly below mediocre. Sprouts were solid on the inside and mushy on the outside.
