Could be a massive score by stumps up

Let's say 50 overs at 5 an over.... lead of 350 by end of play.... another 100 before lunch tomorrow, then 5 sessions to bowl the other out...

....or an English collapse.... he says, hoping not to tempt fate....

Broad just announced his retirement from all cricket , hopefully going out on a high and a win ... 🤞

Yes what a great servant to English cricket Broad has been, would be great for him to go out on a win against the Aussies!

Good for him to go out on his terms. He's had a great career and last series, and I hope he does well tomorrow.

Wonder if he'll take Anderson with him?

I'd be very surprised if Anderson carried on after this series,if he wasn't Anderson he'd have been dropped by now.

Agreed. He's not had a great series... having said that, I hope he takes five tomorrow!

If he does go it would mean we are a bit inexperienced,  but there are plenty of options and potential....if they can stay fit!

Last ball faced as a batsman....in an Ashes test....gets a 6.

Takes the last two wickets in an Ashes test as a bowler.

Legend is a vastly overused term in sport, but for Broady it is very apt.

Both him and Anderson are now the past, though both were absolute legends.

Its now players like Tongue and Archer who are the future, Wood is not young and very injury prone, as is Archer unfortunately.

 I like Robinson as well.

Brilliant last spell from Chris Jordan at the end for my team Southern Brave.

Showed why you should always bowl at the stumps to the lower order.

Unlucky .. I thought they were going to do it .. the win predictor was shifting all over the place

cracking finish though
