I've just checked National Express and it is only a quick change at LHR T3 and I'm on my way "home".... With a much better choice and no need to waste a day in a hotel.

Prices into Gatwick are normally cheaper than LHR aren't they..?

Not so sure about prices being cheaper into Gatwick,  but any move back to normality is a good one methinks.
