Yessongs Posted August 10, 2023 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Sad day for me, just got an e-mail from one of my best friends John, he is the guy to the left of me here. We met in 1976 when we both worked part time as we were just finishing college at a company called "Consumers Distributors" He and his wife retired to Maui 4 years ago, sold his home here in San Jose. He was at Lockheed for 35 years. Sadly, yesterday they barely made it out of the condo they bought, as it burnt to the ground along with most of everything in Lahaina. He said they have no idea yet, how many people have died. This is just heart breaking for me...talk about a true friend you know? He has been invited to come here to live with us for as long as he needs.
