What problems are they having now mate, mechanical or maybe issues with the vast array of electronic rider aids ??? KTM seems to be mainly electronic,as do most BMW, though they seem to have mechanical issues also. Mind you plenty of recalls for other manufacturers. Couple of years ago Yamaha had to recall new R1's for a bottom end crank replacement, not what you want after spending about 18k on a new one.

Costs more to take a Bimmer bike for repairs at a shop than a first class whoore in Munich. One of my old 'flying bricks'... galenkia
First TT race, the Superbike race, is due to start in 25 minutes. Hope the weather is okay as it deteriorated near the end of practice week. Considering they have had 3 years away, Peter Hickman was quickest in qualifying at 133 mph, only 2 mph down on the lap record. 1
galenkia
Just been watching the highlights of the first TT race on the ITV Hub, the RST Superbike race, 6 laps or 226 miles. I'll post the results at the bottom of the post,so scroll down carefully if you don't want to know them lol. This was John McGuinness 100th TT start on the factory Honda with Glenn Irwin as his team mate at his first TT, though he's no stranger to road racing with multiple NW200 wins. Glenn actually broke the lap record for rookies during practice with a 128mph lap. I was cheering on Dean Harrison as usual on the Kawasaki ZX-10R. Good to see everyone get home safe and sound. Results are below. 1 Peter Hickman 2 Dean Harrison 3 Michael Dunlop 4 Ian Hutchinson 5 John McGuinness Glenn Irwin finished 8th in his first ever TT race. Both Padgetts Hondas retired with mechanical issues.

Popular Post maipenrai
I've decided to hang up my dirt leathers for good - I've had a good long run of it with no injuries and would like to keep it that way at my age; this bike, a 2017 Yamaha WR450F, is too much bike for just the occasional ride anyway - one needs regular practice to keep sharp on these. It only has 256 km on it and will be a good deal for somebody, but I'm going to ask silly money for it like everyone else is these days and we'll see. I'm not done with bikes altogether - there will be another classic British bike in my yard soon, stay tuned: 6

Ir had a hard life , that's for sure, but the engine still turned over (but wouldn't fire !) when I tried it. I love stuff like that, gear which has been used but also deserves a little TLC. I asked the owner how much, but got turned down.
