Buy a trailer - do a 'conversion' - take off the lights and blinkers and mirrors etc - get a set of racing tyres - go ride it on track days . I did the trailer trips to tracks with a Duke and a Beema.  I almost did the full 'conversion' on the S1000RR and join an amateur 'mature' racing group - now wish I did.

Not sure if I've posted this yet, but I love this video as it features the same model as my last bike I owned for 6 years. By the way, top speed realistic is about 165mph. Can get 180 on the clock but it's over reading.

Brings back similar memories.  Years ago a mate of mine was a police bike rider and his personal bike was a Kwaka Ninja Z1000000. He was doing 200+ ks one day when his back pack fell and jammed the back wheel. Anyone else was probably off - but he kept it up. He showed me the skid mark on the road - it was loooong - maybe 80/90 metres.

Gods oath true.  As I said he was a policeman who rode a bike all day at work in traffic on the roads - their training in unbelievable - he had skills on the road that would make a MotoGP rider jealous.

I am not doubting your word Robert, I simply mean that he was most fortunate to get away unscathed......

Took a ride out to the H Cafe in Oxford earlier. Get a lot of bikes on Sunday or when it's warmer. Nice RC8 and a couple of Z900RS's there though.
