biggles
I still remember when Triumph opened their Chonburi factory and I went to checkout the prices. The same model was more expensive here than in Australia, with all the shipping and import taxes added on!

Mr. Biggles, i believe, but stand to be corrected if anybody knows for sure, that the Triumph factories here are in a so called "Enterprise Zone". Industrial estates which have cheaper rents and a guarantee of low price power and water with no interruptions. BUT one proviso is that all goods produced must go for export. That of course would mean that although some Triumph models and many components are indeed produced in Thailand, to buy one here would also incur import duties, delivery charges etc. 1

galenkia
Kawasaki confirmed the ZX-4R sportsbike to be released in Europe in Autumn 2023. Back to the old 90’s days of four cylinder 400’s imports. Not seen how much power it produces yet,the old imports produced around 60 to 70 hp. According to recent press releases, it kicks out almost 80BHP. Plus has loads of modern tech' and rider options / modes to play with. Kawasaki have a knack of making their road bikes produce a most wonderous sound from the intake + airbox arrangement, give it a fistful of throttle and enjoy, hopefully this latest model will be no different.... https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/kawasaki-zx-4r/?utm_source=OracleResponsys&utm_medium=email&utm_content=MCN_news&utm_campaign=MCN-E-M-230203-News2-ACQ-BSP&email_hash=0f6802b5faf13e2200f1eb1e30196b18 Edited February 4, 2023 by SteveBC 1

Thats a £20k bike, the dry clutch you can see through the clear cover is over £2k alone.
