Oh. Maybe too many people did what I did...

Over the past week they have been using the outside space to "construct" a beer bar. For "construct", read put in a fridge and a few sofas and tables. Tonight I noticed a new sign...

I lady behind the bar, otherwise empty.  Inside "finit", her words.20240222_204720.jpg

I'm saddened to see that, I had a couple of good evenings in there. The girls were fun, decent attitudes and it's a shame to see it go.

I commented on the Nick Dean video if they were going to have a grand opening party on March 1st to which she replied it looks like there was a problem with the building authority again and there could be up to a 4-week delay

I wonder how many bars in Tree Town are making a profit?

I would hazard a guess, very few.

Same old, same old.

Too many bars all chasing the same diminished number of potential customers. Yet new "beer gardens" continue to open hoping they will be different.

Give me a comfortable air conditioned bar with a good sound system, nice eye candy and reasonable prices any day.

Yep.... either money laundering waste holes, or dreams gone up in smoke.

There's something happening at the Blue Rahtree beer bar complex on soi casino/buckhou.

Yesterday some of the metal hoardings were removed, but have been re-errected, and today there is a lot of hammering on the higher floor...

I'm sorry to repeat this again  but I will never forget how they treated the homeless families sheltering in there during the worst parts of Covid lockdown.

Kuntz!
