This British made TVR Tuscan was/is imo an absolute beauty, it was launched in 2000 with a list price of circa 40K GBP and to acquire an excellent condition one today will set you back in excess of 30K GBP. In its day it was a real head turner and the exhaust sound was far better than any stereo sound system you might want to hear, most owners chose the exhaust lol I don't quite know why i did'nt get one when i retired and had all the time to play around/enjoy one, it was capable of 180mph if ya had the balls to do it. Like all TVR's it had a bad rep for reliability but to the fervent owners that was a price worth paying to own and drive such a beauty at a relatively affordable price. If i was living in the UK now i would get one as a last throw of the dice. I drove one of these back in the day, loved it, no TC or ABS though, proper drivers car

Personally I like the '64-'67 Vettes the best and always wanted to own one but today they are asking silly money so no deal....as for Shelbys and Dinos, even worse... Looking at 30k upwards for one now. Mate had a Sapphire Cosworth back in the 90's,were cheap as f**k then, gave 4k for it. Not sure what they are worth now

My 3 year old Suzukl RG500 cost me £3500 in 1989,mint ones go for over £20k now. I sold mine for £500 with a blown engine and crash damage 5 years later 😄 Edited November 3, 2019 by galenkia

davethailand
Obviously not mine but some favourites that I've driven. I used to drive Bentley's the same as this occasionally when I worked for an Arab family. The Porsche is a 959, My Dads Saudi client bought one and my Dad went over to Stuttgart to pick it up on a trailer with delivery mileage. A mate and I took it out around Bayswater in the early 90's, It didn't even have number plates fitted. The Z1 was owned by the same Guy and my Dad used to look after it at home. 🙂 1

Yeah, I was reaching a little with the "Starsky and Hutch" but I haven't seen the Clint Eastwood movie; also, if the black Ferrari is the one used on "Miami Vice", it is actually a replica built on a Corvette C3 chassis but I'd still love to have it...
